I love this game. One of my all time favorites. Why am I down voting it? The same reason I hadn't touched it in years. FEAR.

This game is online only. Most of the content is playable solo. only 4 missions require a team. I am afraid of the inevitable shut down. I stopped playing because I realized, when that day comes, my time in this game was basically wasted. All of that gear and grind? gone.

This is what you get when you mix Sweary65 and Suda51 but mostly Sweary65 with that... Deadly Premonition 2 writing and performance.

Fortunately this isn't Unreal bad performance it is Unity. All the usual inide game stuff are here but kinda remixed. Enemy placement is procedural but not the maps. Kneecaps if you want some more pain. Difficulty mods and so on.

As long as you go the same path, the previous iteration of you is gonna be there doing exactly what you did so technically you can gang up on a boss you're stuck at and if you don't go back after missions you get bigger and bigger bonuses and make sure to spend those stuff because you basically won't be keeping any of it.

And if you are a gun nut, stay away! This game has the most cursed shotgun in the world. It's a double barrel that takes in 7 bullets and is pump action.

So if you like cursed weapons in your indie rouge lite game with slap from Suda51 and a kick from Sweary65, get this.

Stop censoring games. Stop releasing new versions of the same games but removing the modding tools.
And if you do want to do the above, then fine don't remove the original games at least.

I was not made aware the OST was in a .exe player. Please let me play the songs from a normal file.

The game gives you a button to tell the game to not sell your data but if you are in US or Canada , it takes you to a page that says it's not available.

You can not turn data selling off and if you block internet access to the game the game refuses to launch. If you value your privacy, do not buy this game.

I know I hadn't played this much but there's a reason. This game basically never ends. there is so much to unlock which isn't a bad thing at all. The problem is that if I get going in this game, I would probably die from starvation before I put it back down.

Either let me switch to the old cut sense or do it right. The new update made some actual improvements but the remastered cut sense are bad. At least let us chose between the original if you don't want to put effort in remastering them.

In lolipop chainsaw Repop, Cell shading is gone but I never palyed the OG so... eh..., Lighting in some areas is busted. QTEs don't read your button inputs until half way threw the time given to you for some reason.
Store page says no cloud saves but there are cloud saves and there is nothing aside from resolution for graphics settings
No ultra-wide support either for whoever cares about that.

This game is very janky. I can run it perfectly fine on Linux. and can definitely use some patches and you know... graphical settings. I will update this when I play more and find more issues but at this point, it's... fine.

If you want some arcade fun when you play as a giant monster tearing down buildings and so on, this is the game for you. The game runs pretty well, it works on Linux just fine and you can play with your buddies locally.

Now this game is good. Not gonna deny that. I recommend it if you don't care about the OST. I bought the Deluxe edition with... Selected soundtrack because why give us the full soundtrack but the biggest issue is that it uses an in game music player rather then give us the file.

So you can't really use the soundtrack without running the game which is in my opinion make it pointless. Unlike say... Persona 3 Which I only got the game for the soundtrack and had this BS System, at least I like this game so it wasn't a complete waste of money.
