Addictive and fun even though I'm always using the same items

Bought this game for Cinnamoroll but fell in love with Chococat instead

Some maps are huge with intricate pathfinding and the gameplay is intense with the new alarm system calling for reinforcements. The base game is 8 not 9 campaigns since the last one is just a single shot.

Littlewood takes all the tediousness out of life sims.
-no inventory, unlimited storage
-no need to choose tools, just press space
-teleport back home at the press of a button
-stamina decreases when you complete, not attempt a task (eg fishing)
-the day ends based on your use of stamina

I love the card mini-game and I love how everyone in town worships me, this game is making me develop a god complex

The only thing lacking in this game is the importance of seasons: fish and bugs change but crops grow all-year, it doesn't feel like there is much change from season to season.

Luzia reminds me of a little me and the banter between the characters is very cute.
This game gives me big Spirited Away vibes but even after I finished it I am still lowkey confused who is who and what what whats've?
There were many touching moments esp the scene where Luzia said "I can't save you but I can help you" it struck me pretty hard because I always question whether or not one has the right to take their own life, and who are we to stop them... Overall I actually feel this game is wholesome. It can teach one about what depression is like if you've never experienced it.
I only got jumpscared once but it was a pleasant experience even then :3

Gr8 QOL: auto-sorting items into your storage boxes, if you die, nothing is lost; you can craft things with items that are in your storage boxes rather than your inventory, you don't need to water plants (though you need to keep them fertilised for higher yield/bigger size), every day is saved and you can load basically from any day that you want. you can also expand your inventory on the go. (or leave things behind, they will stay there forever)

The amount of effort that went into this game is unfathomable - most lines are voice-acted and you can even choose from 3 different accents (and this game has a LOT of characters ok)

It's not just farming or building things, it's also quite combat-heavy which is really cool.
I guess the only thing that this game isn't so good at is the instructions for mini-games, it's a lot of words and it's kinda hard to understand but you get it eventually anyway
Also it's really laggy if you put it in your D: drive so don't
I'm nowhere near done with the storyline and I already love it so much<3 the cutscenes are heartwarming especially when the fellow Portians help out
There's a lot of events and the quests take over the whole world (all the characters will talk to you about it) making it more immersive
And NPCs come to your doorstep to ask you out on a playdate?? Whaaaaaaat???


Anyway TLDR: 111/10 worth the money. recommend using some mods though like Storage Anywhere, Socialize come late-game
