Great work GMT

Game was ok. I think I was hoping for something to scratch my FFTactics itch. It did not.

Difficulty "scales" with party size, so I went with a full party of 6.
Shadowknight, Necro, Fire/Ice/White mages, Ranger.

Since there's no reason to take a hit, the shadowknight ended up just another necro, the white mage just for buffs and moving barrels/enemies

I intended to play the harder difficulties after learning the game, but when I found out the level cap was 30, I lost all interest of improving my characters (level cap was reached 3 fights before campaign was completed) as the only improvement they could now get was through the same gear being farmed over and over.

The visual clutter was an absolute nightmare, need another way to target the party/enemy when you can't see the ground.

The story is dad died.

The "limitless builds" and "no class restrictions" is limited by a level cap of 30

The 700 unique items is the same like 30 items

There's no reason to fight directly, just summon a bunch of anything.

Had(has?) a weird bug where I couldn't cap the framerate?

The art design is/was fun and other than targetting issues I didn't really get tired of it.

It was fine.
You could play the demo and look up the screenshots online, save yourself an hour.
The voice acting, art, music is all great, I just expected... more? Something. Visual Novels just might not be for me.

They're potentially making a sequel, I can't say I won't at least look into it.

It was an ok game. Art starts out good. Music is okay.

Only enjoyed/felt engaged for 1 of the challenges from 1 of the levels.

I guess it had to fight to get finished and ended up with a lot of weird short comings and just random fan-art.

Save yourself some money and watch a play-through or scroll through the screenshots.

The dev hasn't been responding to an achievement being bugged and it's the last one a lot of people need, including myself.

Exactly what I expected. Also, I intentionally played this only on the deck, no issues at all.

I imagine most people who come across this game will be familiar with GMTK and the series of videos that accompanied it, at first anyway.

Mark wanted to make a game, he wanted to learn and share how and what he learned. I feel this game is a success with that in mind. It's a very well made and polished puzzle game and it's GMTK's first (I hope there is more).

I didn't expect a story that would change my life or tackle some big issue. I wanted to play something fun, short and well put together. That's what I got out of this.

It took a little under 2 hours to beat, with only 1 level taking some thinking about, and it was because the mechanic was not mentioned or hinted at in a way I noticed and I think was only used in that screen (I've already forgotten, if I'm being honest, if it was in another level after). The spinning switch throwing the magnet, the blue squares look like they were supposed to be a hint, but I never had to make that connection.

The game may look a little pricey when compared to the amount of shovelware we're all aware of on this platform, but I felt it was fair, maybe that's because we have insight as to how much time Mark spent on it vs "random_solo_dev"

It was nice 100%'ing the game and remembering when COD wasn't repetitive as sh... Get it on sale and have a good campaign time.

But now Activision said no more fun.

64 hours, completed (109%) the game and noticed many achievements I didn't have. 0 Game crashes. Great game.

Oh, it has DLC. Oh, it says I can use this to get the achievements from bosses I missed, like beating [name] without using Arrows! Sweet. Beat the boss multiple times, on Hard, even unbound the arrow key, didn't get hit (didn't use bubble either) did not unlock the achievement.

DLC Crashed multiple times loading the boss fight (after screen goes black to load from pressing "B" at the mirror to start, after selecting perks and gems, so you have to do that all over again. To add insult to injury, when you load back into the game, it will be sure to tell you, Challenge Failed :))

Don't buy this DLC if you're hoping to get achievements from the main game, even though it straight up says that it can be used that way. Very frustrating.

100%'d this game, then they released more, finished that too.

10/10 for me, wish it was longer, then they released a level / puzzle editor / creator. Great game.

Great f2p with a wonderful map and fun movement. Unfortunately it seems it's already rotting on the side of the road. If the game is still available, you should give it a couple hours.
