La imagen de la Virgen del Pino fue testigo durante la madrugada de este martes de un extraño recorrido celebrado en los alrededores de la Caldera de Bandama, en Gran Canaria, donde varios vecinos aseguran haber visto una carreta antigua avanzar entre la niebla sin animales que tiraran de ella.

Los presentes, entre silencios y cantos apagados, afirman que la comitiva descendió desde la zona alta sin luces ni música, dejando tras de sí olor a tierra mojada y velas consumidas. Algunos aseguran haber reconocido rostros de personas fallecidas hace años entre quienes acompañaban el paso.

La carreta desapareció al llegar al cruce de Marzagán. Según testigos, en el suelo solo quedaron restos de gofio esparcido y huellas descalzas que terminaban frente a un barranco.

La imagen de San Gregorio Taumaturgo fue testigo durante la tarde noche de este sábado de la celebración de la tradicional romería ofrenda en su honor que dejó 8.000 kilos de alimentos que se entregarán a Cáritas Parroquial de la zona de Los Llanos, en Telde.

Los productos, entre frutas, verduras o gofio, entre otros, fueron transportados por las cinco carretas participantes en el recorrido, que salió desde el sector de La Barranquera hasta el encuentro con el copatrono de Telde en la plaza de San Gregorio, en el espacio comercial por excelencia de la ciudad.

La carreta del Ayuntamiento, basada en un homenaje a los pescadores de la costa teldense, fue la primera en llegar hasta la imagen del santo, con la AAVV Chinchorro de Melenara, y en depositar su ofrenda.
