PLAY WITH THE "JUICED" MOD FOR ABSOLUTE BEST EXPERIENCE
You can find the mod down below, it genuinely fixes everything!

Juiced Mod: https://github.com/kobraworksmodding/Saints-Row-2-Juiced-Patch/releases

Review -
I grew up with this game back in 2009 on my Xbox 360 and have countless memories. I bought this game nearly a decade ago and was discouraged from playing it ever again due to the condition the game was left in. The game is unoptimized to all hell and basic functions didn't work properly. The list of problems are nearly endless, but I heard whispers that a new mod had entered the scene that aimed to recapture that magic it held on the 7th gen consoles. Giving it some thought and after not playing the game for nearly 15 years, I figured it was time to try it out and dive back into the streets of Stilwater. Firing it up and seeing how smoothly everything worked with the Juiced Mod brought a smile to my face that not many games can and I can't thank the modders enough for what they've done here. They made Idol Ninja's efforts truly worth it in the end. It felt like I went back in time and got to experience the game all over again for what felt like the first time. I know it's primarily supposed to be a reveiw on the game, but in all honesty, I really do just want to praise the mod developers. You guys knocked it out of the damn park. Thank you for allowing me to relive a piece of my childhood in a way I never thought would be possible. (The game is really fun still so if you've never tried it, I'd say this is the definitive way now)

A short and sweet game. I've been watching it from a distance for some time now and it was worth every penny! If you're looking for a cozy game to end a day with, this is it. It's simple on the surface, but there's something more to it all. The less I say, the better :)

Give it a shot if it sounds like your cup of tea!

Update: Give it a vote for the Steam Awards! It's truly a special game!

The game certainly has the potential to be the next best Borderlands right beside Borderlands 2, but man... it has some serious performance issues. Until Gearbox addresses the technical issues, I advise you save your money.

Nabbed the game for free and have honestly really enjoyed my time with it!
It's a very simple hoard shooter co-op experience that I believe anyone can enjoy, experienced or new.
Tons of progression and lots of enemies to discover at launch which has me excited to see how the game will evolve over time!

A commendable port to an all time 7th Gen classic. Finally having it on PC feels great and playing it feels even better :)

If you were a fan of the multiplayer (much like I was) it unfortunately isn't in this version.

Deep Rock Galactic is a game I had heard whispers about throughout my time gaming on PC. I never really looked into it, but anytime I heard about it, it was nothing but praise. The beginning of 2024 presented an opportunity where one of my good buddies wanted to give it a shot and I figured it was about time I saw what all the buzz was about. We did some missions and I was enjoying myself quite a bit, but the sheer brilliance of this game didn't strike me until I sat down one day and decided to do some solo missions.

Going into Deep Rock Galactic solo presented me with what felt like an entirely different experience to the one I was having with my friend. While enjoying the game with my friend, my focus was more on talking to my friend and goofing around while trying to learn how to play. Once I was in the mines alone with Bosco, I only had my laser pointer and Mission Control to guide me. My focus suddenly shifted to the mechanics of the game and the atmosphere. This isolation allowed me to appreciate the world that Ghost Ship Games had painstakingly crafted over the years of development.

Speaking of Ghost Ship Games, I've got nothing but nice things to say about these guys after getting absorbed by their passion project of a game. In the current climate of gaming, it's so rare to find a team of developers so free and open to discuss their thoughts and opinions on the game they're actively working on. Keeping in touch with the community and streaming weekly. Catching their streams and watching Aaron, Mark and Jacob at Ghost Ship is always a treat.

Deep Rock Galactic is a game that very clearly has a lot of love poured into it. Knowing it is being developed by such a dedicated and capable team fills me with such confidence and genuine joy. Even though I've only had the game in my Steam Library for about 7 months at the point of this review, it's easily one of the best games I've ever played and I don't see that changing anytime soon if at all. It's a perfect blend of so many games I've enjoyed and ties it altogether beautifully into one neat little package (literally, the game is 4GB).

A lot of modern games push FOMO (fear of missing out) to keep you glued to their title and to make their concurrent player count look healthy. Deep Rock Galactic does things a little differently and treats the players and their time with respect. Season 5 introduced the ability to do any Season at anytime. You can bounce between them or laser focus them one at a time. No time limits, no exclusive rewards. Miss an event last year and didn't get the cosmetic for it? Don't worry, it'll be bundled together with all the other exclusive cosmetics of years past next time it rolls around!

Speaking of Seasons, they're all FREE and there are no "premium" tiers to the season pass. The only things you can buy with your hard earned cash is cosmetics which are entirely optional. While they are optional, I recommend nabbing them as they support the devs at Ghost Ship Games. Not only that, but they all look amazing to boot. I could gush about this game for hours and how much joy it has brought me in this one year alone, but I feel like it does an incredible job at speaking for itself too. If you ever get this itch to give it a fair shake, I believe you won't be disappointed.

We did our part and peace has been restored. Glory to Super Earth! (and god bless the developers at Arrowhead Game Studios)

Early Access Review
For "Early Access" there sure are a lot of bugs. Fortunately you can shoot back :)

Jokes aside, I've never played "Vampire Survivor", but I have thoroughly enjoyed my time with the game so far. The progression feels nice, the characters are varied and interesting. The upgrades are noticeable and the action is quick! It can get REAL tough, but it's one of those games where you can see noticeably see yourself improve and I love that feeling. For the base price, it's honestly a steal if you enjoy Deep Rock Galactic! Would happily recommend to any fellow dwarf.

ROCK AND STONE!

With the servers working, the game is now playable. I've been having a wonderful time with it and I'm remaining optimistic that they will include an offline of sorts in the (hopefully near) future. The gunplay feels very responsive and fluid. Some objectives can get a little drawn out, but the overall experience has been rather fun.

Never has a game made me feel so defeated and so accomplished at the same time. Truly one of, if not the most addictive replayable game out there.
