Early Access Review
It's a good concept, and it has some interesting gameplay for the first 10 hours or so. After that, there's nothing left for you to do. I know this game is early access so you can't expect everything to be all fleshed out, but currently there's just not enough available to keep the player's interest. I'd stick around, but the devs have a habit of forgetting about this game for periods of 5 or more years.

I hope Fenix Fire turns this around, because they've got something real special on their hands and right now they're wasting it.

Though occasionally buggy and running an old interface with outdated graphics, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic has an amazing story to tell, and is one of the best classic RPG games out there as well as the best Star Wars video game ever made.

HK-47 is love, HK-47 is life. Down with all the worthless meatbags!

I found this game on my recommended list about a year and a half ago. At first glance, I thought it was just another space exploration game, made with the bare minimum of development to make it barely make the mark of being considered playable (Yes, I have actually encountered games like that before).

And then I looked at it's steam reviews, and then I watched dozens of Youtube reviews on it, and I learned more and more about it.

I bought the game two weeks later, and combining my online and offline hours, it's my most played game with over 200 hours of playtime and is still going.

To make this review an actual review, I should begin by saying that gameplay resembles Terraria with an intergalactic twist that is only ripened with the given storyline (recently updated as of Starbound 1.4). The limit of the game depends on your creativity and the number of mods you have installed. Yeah, it's very modable, and in my opinion, it's just as good without mods as it is with them. The community is one of the most wholesome I have ever encountered, and hope that never changes.

Starbound will always have a special place in my heart because it wasn't recommended to me by a friend or a relative or some "Top 10 Best Games of 2019" video: it was something I found on my own, and it has been, is, and always will be one of my favorite video games I have ever played.

But seriously, the fanart is amazing. There are some bada** artists who play Starbound.
