I don't review games often, but this is a masterpiece. Truly one of the best games I've ever played. Props to the developer.

Definitely gives vibes of old school super metroid/metroid at the start, before morphing into something more akin to La Mulana (without the clunky platforming). I'm a veteran of metroidvanias and platformers alike and I found the beginning of the game pretty slow/simple, but the further you make it through, the more difficult the game becomes. There are some tough platforming sections, but the game's tight controls make it so that you can easily sense what is 'possible' and executing a successful section feels really great.

It has been a long time since I've played a game that gave such a visceral feeling of gratification when I solved puzzles or found a new secret room. The whole design of the map is clever, and. When travel starts to become a chore, you unlock new movement and travel options - this is great, because you will be backtracking. A LOT.

The core game is good with the right amount of difficulty for an experienced gamer. The full experience and post-game is truly difficult, but it's where this one shines.

Never been one to play idle games, but this one hooked me though. Lots of different mechanics going on without taking itself too seriously. Having a lot of fun so far :)

Game is an absolutely excellent sequel to one of the best (if not the best) metroidvania out there. Truly gratifying to finally put together a solution and solve a puzzle after being stumped for a few days.

100% recommend not looking at a guide as all the charm from this game comes from figuring out the obscure puzzles.

10/10 would play again.
