A rather meh game, interesting solely because of the method of creation. The demo is, at least, worth the price.

The game is the most detailed zombie survival game ever, and the roadmap that the developers are presenting is just going to add new layers of gameplay. I really cannot wait until the NPC survivors make a comeback/

Know what you are getting into with this game. It's not entirely finished, and needs mods to fully flesh it out.

That aside, it is an excellent experience and a journey through potential.

I think the strongest praise I can offer for this game is that I would buy DLC for it if such were available.

That is basically my only complaint about it. Once you've completed a few dozen missions, the game gets samey. That's fine if you like games where late-game gameplay is basically about doing the same things, only with more difficulty...

But I personally would like the world fleshed out more, and a wider range of missions and environments and so on.

Having said that, I heartily recommend the game as well worth the price, even if you eventually get bored. It's a _good experience_.

The atmosphere in this game is brilliant. The oppressive hum as you enter the building, the soft sounds as the ghost increases in agitation, the ability for the ghost to plunge you into darkness for an exquisite jumpscare...

The game is good, and has the potential to become magnificent. Heartily recommended.

I didn't like the look of this game when I first saw it. It was a youtube video that convinced me to give it a try, and now it's one of my most played games.

It wakes my mind up, it tests me at just the right rate, and every refinement that I get right is one of the most satisfying things ever.

These games were a significant part of my childhood. They are a shining beacon to when games were only just beginning to realise their potential, a beacon that was at the time way out in front.

I regret that I only have one upvote to give. I really cannot recommend this game enough.

I like the dark elements, the light elements, the heavy focus on emergent stories, the sandbox-oriented design, the clear fan acknowledgement of the wonderful Firefly series... while still being managing to keep the game in its own world, rather than being a hamfisted franchise wannabe... and even the games graphics, something I normally consider secondary, is worthy of praise. Just enough detail to be immersive, while more than enough simplicity to be both playabe and low in resource demand.

But the thing I like the most is the direct, enthusiastic support for the modding community. The light from the burning flames of the absolute debacle that Take-Two have ignited in their kick in the community's teeth is demonstrating just how important and how valuable this approach is. So well done, Ludeon, you took the right path.
