Whatever the promise of this game was, it was so haunting its never left my mind. Why? You can shove people. The only thing I ever wanted in a multiplayer. People could shove you though. Horrible design mistake. Plus the anti-horror setting of a cruise ship. Few places more horrifying, and who hasn't wanted to open fire on one of those? Land of Confusion character design to pile on the off puttingness? Why the hell not? It was gonna be a big deal. Load of one of the greatest hype busts and see for yourself. Consider this: upon revisiting it, I see its the only game out of 280 that I put on "ignore".

Love the dehumanizing concept art. Tickles those Ghost Recon Phantoms feels a bit, but skews far more for all the recent over stylized modern shooters. There is so much design "noise" constantly. A female VO is bleating "Dudes, get on the point" while your bots step off it even a foot. Its Combat Arms 12th bastard child. The shooting is fine, you just have to be assaulted by ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as if you are a dull child no matter what happens. Like so many, it can't escape its LCD mobile scummy bones. I'd tell them to clean it up and relaunch, but scumbags don't take direction.

Early Access Review
The hope is an art style like this would lead to dramatic frame yields. They've managed leave us non hardware ♥♥♥♥♥♥ behind with even that, as its still somehow over dressed and barely runs on my new low end APU. Whatever it could be said for it having and artistic vision, in the one map with foliage, because of its faceted nature, every asset disrupts the eye like digital camouflage. Its very cool looking, but just makes play neigh on impossible. Expect to be aced from nowhere from people who figured out movement based recognition is the only way to see through this mess, thus unimaginably stifling the already thumb wrestling nature of FPSs. As much as I like a plan shooter, Ive never been strictly against a cartoon treatment for war, as much as I understand its detractors. TF2 being the granddaddy of this polarizing effect. The difference is TF2's clean look saves it, despite its far less intuitive weapons. When you can find a target, Polygon's shooting is good. It's FREE, as such there is no barrier to easily reviewing it yourself.

I just rediscovered this game after being entranced by it an not being able to find it for YEARS. Whatever they call a chillout or flow state game, this is it. The fluidity of orbits, early in life learning the serendipitous nature of orbit itself, is such a harmonious theme. Paired with restoring these engines of the universe warmly glowing in stark nothingness, is so life affirming. A rare enough feeling, especially one particular temperaments don't readily allow, only possible here without hokum or corniness so often a pitfall when that is the intended reaction. 9$ is a bit steep for what it is at this point. Coming up on a decade old, and never got its shine, it should be a couple dollars max. Wait for a sale, and then prepare to praise the suns!.

It's brazilian. If "City of God" didn't make you racist, this will. The whole thing is more off than sunsoaked mayonnaise. Double Dragon starvation made me buy this. I think I got it nearly for free. Still feel ripped off.

After so much of the original I can claim burnout, but the improvements with 2 never made me excited enough with its updates however timely to feel enough like its own game/worth the purchase with 1 being so good. I have no memory of so much hand wringing about buying a game as when this launched with my love of COH1, but just could never justify pulling the trigger.

The brilliant turn is the capture points being able to decide if they are ammo/fuel/pop cap, and what a great dimension it as to game play and gives a player so much more agency, with deeper gameplay and shame. For $20 now criminal for that alone, whatever other new content, which only feels like a shuffle of locales, enemies, cool and important as it is to finally incorporate the russians. Only feels like another expansion of the COH1, and should be priced as such plus age. Its good, just not worth what they are asking.

Pretty as its is, its tribal, simplistic light and dark gutless "lore", it can work sure (Twilight Princess, Metroid Prime 2) but here its just lazy, just more magic existed in the past and science kills wonder nonsense. Pretty though, Plays well enough. I got it for a $1 or something. I just can't care about it. It like Cirque De Soiel pretentiousness (which I've seen live btw) about primal magic. Is this game french? It's probably french.

I'll stay out of the other reviews complaints about real world, after launch fouling by the public. A legitimate a concern that is in terms of usability. But I don't need all that to torpedo this abortion. I can't care about "pay to win" if I hate everything else anyway. "Near future" is hard to do. Everyone wants to be Metal Gear, understandably. But that's a high bar, and if you can play test this and not pull back, you need to get out of industry. Crysis was always wank, for proportionally stupid graphic ♥♥♥♥♥♥. As that was always a "please like my Im pretty" failure, now its last call and a side walk sale. Don't be fooled by screenshots, as try hard as the character design is, sweet as OG Chuck Taylors are. If just "off" the whole game is off. It's still up, and Ghost Recon Phantoms is gone. Good work god.

But hey its free. Give its a hate whirl.

It's SO RUSSIAN. Desperate and empty, and you are welcome. Negative reviews complaining bout pointlessly meandering frozen hell....are not inaccurate, but if that is your thing (I see you The Long Dark), how else do you live the truth of this based on a true story tale? I don't think anyone was mislead here about the gameplay. But I'm a huge DMV simlulator fan. That's me. I'm so deep. And then a glowing humanoid transdimensional entity just molests you and you are dead. *SPOILER ALERT*. 20 dollars. Should be a free feeder demo. I don't know how I got it. Must have been a penny based on curiosity, and love of the type.

I've never seen an exit trailer for the life of a game like this. Absolute class. It's a more serious TF2: the dream. Just right split of style and mechanics. Should have taken over the world. Smart enough to be free. Never has a game this good been launched free. If I hadn't already spent 1500 hours in TF2 I would have cheated a significant portion of that with this honey of a game. It's basically dead and its your fault. Where were you!
