A cute game, reminiscent of Animal Crossing, especially in terms of art style and game play. Great way to sit back, relax, and pass the time. My only real complaints are the diving mechanics, which were this any other game I would be dead 100 times over, and the fact that, despite the game's name, it is in fact not a short hike.

Sometimes you need to show people your peaceful ways through force and that's okay.

Plays better than on the Origin client, which lets be honest that's what we care about.

Pretty fun game when ya know you can actually get to playing it. Most of my time is spent getting disconnected from the servers. Besides that, it pairs well with my paranoia.

I remember playing Flower back in 2009; my brother had just bought it on the store along with Flow. I got bored so i figured I would try it out and was completely absorbed into the game for the next hour plus. I just couldn't stop playing. The music, atmosphere, colors coordination, and sheer game design are qualities that made this game absolutely captivating. After finishing, I would try to get the secret petals to unlock until I couldn't find them, then I would move over to Flow.

The game play opts for simple mechanics. Every level is a dream of the flower you play. You move the wind and help flowers bloom; essentially, that's it. Accompanied with the aforementioned qualities this lends to a tranquil experience. There exists no urgency, but rather a sense of taking things in and moving forward with ease.

On the PS3 this experience was further enhanced with the six axis controller that made you feel in control of the wind, which unfortunately you don't get as much with a mouse, but there are brands of controllers for PC that offer this experience.

If you liked the game i suggest looking into the rest of the developers games as they offer a similar relaxing environment.

Why did I buy this game ?! I didn't even beat the first one !

Update: I beat both the first and second one now...aside from the embolism they're ok games.
