The average played hours is over 1.2k and the average 50% percentile player rank is archon 1. (over 1.2k hours is like from 2021 or something but that includes casual people and people who try the game and don't stick around)

These players are cancer and have thousands upon thousands of hours in this game. A lot of them are either scum or narcissists who enjoy taunting you for your misfortune. Its psychotic.

New players stay away.

Its not worth your time getting involved despite how interesting the game's mechanics are because eventually you will hit a wall where in order to "git gud" you have to spend thousands upon thousands of hours. If you are a young person with a lot of free time then maybe but if you are a working adult then this barrier to entry is not worth your time.

This game gave me imposter syndrome but its not worth the time investment to "git gud".

Great. Always remember your knife and a certain rifle in combination can kill anything you encounter.

This game is the most anime that ever animed anime. Originally I was interested in this game because it said that it would implement a combat system similar to ff15. It is not a fleshed out and it comes with persona calender and relationship building mechanics along side the ff15 combat. It is okay. If you can stomach the anime parts or if you are into that stuff then sure. Although it really just makes me wanna play ff15 again

Plays like a more realistic version of xcom2. The unmodded vanilla gameplay has some super annoying balancing but the appeal of games like this and xcom is overcoming overwhelming odds. I just finished my first playthrough and this game does not hold your hand it can be brutal.

- Unlike xcom accuracy of weapons isn't purely RNG this game uses a line of sight system for example like in irl you can't hide behind a moderately think tree because as long as your enemy isn't directly in front of you they can still see your arms poking out making them easy targets.
- Every allied and enemy has different body parts that can be disabled, this includes machines and vehicles. If an assault rifle requires 2 hands to use and your bullets break the bones in one of your enemies arms they can't shoot anymore. The same works for you as well.
- Progression is odd but as long as you are exploring, gaining resources, saving as many settlements as you can and research eventually you will unlock the final campaign's mission.
- Multiple airships can be deployed at a single mission for example if the max units you can bring is 8 but your airships only have space for 6 units then you'll need two airships in order to bring the maximum number of units. This means that airships with the fastest speed are the best plus faster airships can respond to emergencies quicker as you need to fly to the destination of conflict.

Every unit gets 3 random perks from a big pool of skills based off of those three skills you can tell if a unit would be good at doing something specific. Even if you can't unlock the gear for it I'd recommend keeping this in mind so you don't run into the mid game with semi unoptimized units.

Card game full of mystery and suspense. With old school point and click adventure aspects built in. Steam deck support works okay but I think I missed a lot of hidden things because I didn't have an agile mouse.

The game takes a total shift many times in the various acts and you'll know when you've left an act because the scenery drastically changes. When this happens the game itself is familiar but different and if you don't adapt your old strategy to fit the new environment your gonna have a bad time.

I enjoyed the game and its fairly challenging for turn based combat. I was so impressed that while its still on sale I grabbed banner saga 2 and 3. It won't blow your mind because of how unique or revolutionary it is but its a cozy turn based combat Nordic themed game full of mystery and lots of death.

Fyi. I've beaten the game and I'm fairly certain the your units can't be killed off during combat only during event sequences based off of which option the player chooses.

Good immersive sim with a lot of attention to detail that encourages the player to roll with the mistakes they've made instead of save scumming. Not my cup of tea but to say its a bad game would be an injustice.

Solid game doesn't quite fill that planetside 2 itch but 120v120 isn't bad.

Not my cup of tea, if you like realistic military sims set in the WW2 and that LARPing experience is what you value then you'll like this game. However I have heard of drama with the developers and how their recent cosmetic changes rubbing people the wrong way.

But it's like what you would expect WW2 to be like, dying from seemingly no where.
