The UI is terrible. Every pop up box is huge and you can't rest your mouse somewhere with out it popping up another huge box. The ui also lags especially in the economy tab. Sometimes the only way to find the info you are looking for is the Europedia (which is not that good tbh) or go 4 layers deep in pop ups. A lot of the start/end conditions tool tip just says nothing


Edit: It's getting better but is still bad. Maybe in a few more updates it will be half as good and eu4
It has other problems but my biggest gripe is the current UI
Hope they fix it, and not with a fix in a DLC

responding to the person below. CK3 has better UI than this. Easier on the eyes because the text colors and sizings are better.
Just because it's complicated doesn't mean it's good either. Complexity shouldn't come from the UI. They need to do better.

The ui is fantastic and everything you need is there, play CK3 or VIC3 if you want to see an actually bad ui. Just because it's complicated doesn't mean it's bad, and just because it isn't bad doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement.

You can adjust the UI scaling and the popups when hovering over land/sea tiles can be disabled
