Only downside is how short the game is. It's definitely fun as hell but it just leaves players wanting more.

There's a few too many issues that i've encountered in just 2 hours of play time for me to recommend the game.

Hit boxes and health pools are a joke. Small guys like Bugg have almost non-existent hitboxes. Big guys like Earl are easy to hit, but are way too spongy and almost never die, unless you somehow get them by themselves and 4v1 him.

From what i've seen, theres an bug with Bugg (good joke) where the crop dust will somehow apply 1k DOT instantly and thus rendering the whole fight useless.

Drakahl enraged ranged grab not connecting when it should.

Hit reg is also a bit iffy, with about 50% of melee attacks not connecting.

Respawn timers are super long, but i guess thats fine if you need to go to the bathroom or need a snack after you die and still have time when you get back.

No text chat? In a game where teamwork would absolutely help? There is a vague ping system that that you cant even use on the map screen.

One massive thing i've seen is that the game is actually very uncreative and repetitive in terms of gameplay.

Most games you're just running in circles capturing harvesters right after an enemy just captured it, whereas they dont try to defend, they just move on to capture the next one.

This literally just makes the game into a big loop with the occasional small fight where one team manages to catch up to the other.

I would 1 million percent recommend this game, but i can't. Read TLDR at the end for short Review.

The games most unique feature is also its biggest downfall.

The game works best as a Co-Op PVE game. But there's also a feature where a player can queue as the "Antagonist" and invade your game to fight with the enemy AI against you.

Sounds fun? Right? On paper, absolutely.

Well what if i told you, that the Antagonist feature, does not take into account any sort of Player level, Ranking or Matchmaking?

Yes. As a NEW player, you can encounter a VERY high player as an Antagonist.

What does being a high level give you?

Well there's two things. Passive buffs, and Forge level.

Passive buffs includes: Armour, Resistance and Brute Strength.

Armour reduces the amount of damage you take by shots from other players. Maximum for this seems to be around 50%.

Resistance reduces the damage you take by melee from all enemies. Maximum being around 33%.

Brute Strength increases the amount of melee damage that you deal to all enemies. Maximum being around 50%.

Now on to Forge levels. Forge levels allow you to put points into specific attributes when crafting new weapons. The higher the forge level, the more points you can spend. The highest level being 20 at around level 200.

Now let me say again, that the game DOES NOT care what level the players are, when put through the "matchmaking" system.

These stats allows higher level players to LITERALLY one shot other players. Especially when combined with the card system.

It genuinely confuses me how this kind of stuff is swept under the radar and isn't balanced in any way. So much so, that i purposefully alt+f4 the moment an antagonist joins.

How to fix the problem?

One way is to remove the passive stat system.

Or, you know, add matchmaking that works? The game claims to match you with/against other players of similar level. It even has a "rank" system named MMR% that it also completely ignores.

From what i've seen, the community has been begging to make the Antagonist an optional choice.

TLDR: The game has such good potential, but it's ruined by failing at one of the simplest systems to exist in online gaming. So much that i cannot recommend it.

I could also say: I do recommend this game, but make sure you alt+f4 whenever an antagonist joins. The leaver cooldown doesn't get that bad.

If this game had more than 3 levels, i'd be willing to pay money for it.

It was strangely addicting and felt like a more forgiving version of geometry dash. The music made it twice as better.

I'd definitely recommend this game, and i'm only doing so after owning it for a few years because people are going crazy over the fact that Borderlands 3 will be on the epic games launcher 6 months before it will be on steam.

I somewhat understand why people are against it, but it's pretty naive and ignorant to review bomb a game (and not using the review system properly) because of decisions that are being made 6 1/2 years after release.

If you truly care about the game series and the developers behind it, you'll be like me and won't care about where the game is being sold. I personally don't use the epic games launcher, but i'll definitely consider getting it to play BL3, because i for one, am extremely excited to play it, regardless of the store i buy it through.

One of the few games out there that will put new players in games with people who are over level 50 with hundreds of hours in the game.

Then again, this is likely due to the small playerbase, which weirdly enough has mostly children below the age of 14 playing at all times, who annoyingly have the worst microphones to ever exist, which in itself makes the game even more unbearable to play. Not to mention people who can't speak English playing on the English servers.

If it were to implement some sort of matchmaking system then i maybe could recommend it, but at this point in time, there's no wonder that this game went free to play.

Players on this game are more stupid than town of salem, and that's saying something. Would reccomend if playerbase was above the age of 15 and knew simple grammar and vocabulary, sadly no one does so it becomes a difficult game.

I know the game only recently came out, but i havent seen a game this bad after release since NMS.

Where do i start.

Pros:

- Its free..

Cons:
Too many to list but i'll try some things.

- Laggy as ♥♥♥♥. Servers die 75% of the time before the match even starts.
- Laggy players/bad Hit reg. You think that shooting someone in the head would kill them? THINK AGAIN, because they shot you twice in the body and you are already dead before you can even complain.
- 99% Of people using voice chat just troll, by either "imitating" russians or just screaming.
- Regional option doesnt change anything. I get better connection in the NA region, than the Europe region, when i ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ live in europe, so gj with that.
- Micro transactions, nuff said.
- Massive rule saying "DONT TEAM OR YOU GET BANNED" and then people team, and they don't get banned.
- Weirdly high pc specs needed/badly optimised for a bad looking game. I have a decent PC and the graphics are just horrendous, and yet i still have low fps.
- Controls are worse than Terraria, and that game is in 2D ffs.
- Toxic community? I've gotten messages from players via steam of just them being super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ salty. Ironic right?

1.13/10 Only because its free. Minecraft Hunger Games is better.
