Something that SHOULD cost money is FREE for everyone.

While the campaign is alright. The rest of the game isn't. Don't waste your time my friends.

Edit: The game feels a lot better than before but I still don't think you should pay the extra money. The game doesn't really feel like it should be even worth 60 bucks, if the 70 isn't bad enough.

Note i'm not very good at reviews, I've played a lot of COD in the past and unfortunately I can't get rid of this stupid curse of buying games from the COD franchise regardless if that game is bad or not.

The game plays pretty similarly to MW 2019 but with a bit more added content and a few gameplay changes. Animations and sound designers went CRAZY with this one (Arguably better than MW 2019) and honestly it feels smoother for that alone. Pacing wise the game can be a bit faster compared to MW 2019 because the maps aren't as huge (If not including invasion and ground war). The new equipment (like the drill charge) can counter tactics that are hated amongst a lot of players (such as camping, I don't have an issue with it but some people do) but that's not really saying much because there are perks and field upgrades that can counter the equipment anyways. Don't get it twisted, Although there are new things, IMO the game still plays VERY similarly to MW 2019 and that's not really a BAD thing, its just not very impressive. I feel like they released Vangaurd just to disappoint us to then release this game to make us think "FINALLY A GAME THAT'S BETTER!" in hopes that'd we buy this one if that makes any sense.

I'm not saying it isn't fun because it CAN be fun (yknow... IF YOU'RE NOT CRASHING!) but I believe there really isn't enough new content for you to say "Oh! This is totally worth my hard earned 70 bucks!". If it's on a sale for a REASONABLE price, then sure go ahead but if not then don't waste your time or money.

A game you can sink hours into and still find multiple ways to have fun with. There's multiple classes and lots of items that makes every playthrough different. The moment you get the hang of the game, you start challenging yourself to do really ballsy things through your runs with the help of the Town's fountain. The dungeons will be more challenging but the rewards will definitely be worth it (The upgrades in town can get a bit pricey so yeah, it's worth the risk). There's many dungeons to explore and enemies to fight and If that's not enough for you then, the DLC can also add more to your experience.

Even AFTER the DLC, you can mess around in the workshop and use new items or play some pretty interesting classes that the community has made with a unique set of abilities.

Is it worth 12 bucks? In my opinion it was worth it. Me and my buddy sunk hours into this game and tried multiple class combos to better perfect our synergy.

Heard about Hammerwatch 2 and I'm excited!

I got shot and a medic screamed for me to hang in there, he then heals me and runs off into the distance and blows up.

10/10 would recommend.
