Star Wars: Squadrons is an incredibly solid game with a very specific focus: making you feel like a fighter pilot in the Star Wars universe.

The visuals and sound are top-notch; there's nothing like seeing the bright light of a nearby star illuminate the inside of an X-Wing cockpit. The audio design is not only authentically Star Wars, but you can learn a lot about the status of your ship's systems just by listening to the various beeps.

The single player campaign is fine; it mostly serves as an extended tutorial to all the systems in the game, but is worth going through once. Interestingly, the Imperial NPCs are a little more compelling than those of the New Republic.

The choices of multiplayer modes are lean, but intentionally so. Dogfights (i.e. Team Deathmatch) mode exists mainly as an unranked way to test out ships against opponents in shorter matches. Fleet Battles are the real bread-and-butter of the game, and there is a lot of depth to be found in this ranked, objective-based mode. But if it's not what you're interested in, this game might not be for you.

The VR experience is the full game, and can lead to some marvelous moments (especially in the all-glass cockpits of the A-Wing and X-Wing). Performance can be a little bit finicky, so be prepared to do some tweaking.

Short but sweet VR experience in the Arkham videogame universe. Familairity with those games improves the experience, but the Case Files section can get you up to speed on the other games if you haven't played them. Don't expect any combat going into this; gameplay is almost entirely puzzle solving. The dynamic duo of Conroy and Hamill reprise their traditional roles of Batman and the Joker, which is always a win in my book.
