if you are looking for a game that challenges your ability to dodge, and test your skill, this game wont be for you. the game is kind of designed in a way that you find a problem and you find a solution to fix it. say right now your AC is too light and cant take the damage being done to it. make a heavier AC. but the problem is, is that the heavy option is probably the best way to win the game. lol you just become way too tanky and i would argue, too fast. you shouldnt be able to just turn around like that.

all that being said. i feel like what this game is trying to do is just make a cool mech game that is actually fun. and this game succeeded in that super well. if you are a fan of mecha anime, or pacific rim, you'll like this game.

this game is super duper fun! take the fun of halo reach fire fight, and make a huge map with more smaller objectives and boom! easy money!

that being said, the state of the games performance is the worst game i have ever seen. it doesnt matter if i completely turn down the graphics all the way, make it as pixelated as physically possible, i barely get any frames at all. like, maybe 8 frames, max, if you're lucky. hell once it crashed so hard that i had to restart my computer. like, completely. it got so bad at one time that while extracting it ran at 24 frames. 24! thats actually movie frame rates! while it was still technically playable. absolutely not ideal.
not even capping the frame rate helped, because even on my computer, can only run this game at around 70 FPS on high setting.

i haven't made very many reviews lately, but man, this game is freaking great. dare i say it, better than lethal company...

one of my main issues with that game is the fact that the controls are kind of clunky, too reliant on how much inventory and battery you have. also lethal company has way WAY too many unavoidable monsters. it really turns me off of it. because when you run into a monster in lethal company and its unavoidable, well your just screwed.

but in this game, most of the game works perfectly, all of the monsters can be avoided. some may surprise you. but its nothing you cant avoid, even combos of monsters. which is more tricky to deal with, its not a totally completely bad situation.
the movement system is actually really good? though the platforming is kind of bad, there isn't much of it. its simple and nice!

while at first i thought the stamina system recharging super slowly was annoying, i find it that it progresses at the perfect pace to just, slow down, because well, there's no monsters around, so you don't have much reason to run. but if a monster appears and you don't have any stamina, well, that's kind of your fault. running for no reason.

the store is very good!! you can specialize with the upgrades! i like being a scout like person, where i'm the one avoiding monsters and finding the extraction points. but others like getting super strong and being able to lift things on their own.

this game is built around coop, honestly. i don't think you could play this game alone really. with health sharing, and the lifting mechanic.

and if you are like me, and find muppets really funny, and you really like robots, with a low polly aesthetic, this game is perfect. and up to 6 total players, this game could possibly be a season game that you pump 100 hours in easily.

TLDR: this robot muppet, monster avoiding, item collecting game is super fun, and 1000000% worth the 10 dollars. worth. every. penny.

fun game, i reccamend it. but buy it on sale like i did.

pros:
cool robot game.
racing is ok, not great
its pretty easy to make a cool looking robot.

cons:
the parts don't have enough description in order to create a good robot, its very hard to tell if a part is going to affect your mech in a way that you want it. it should be really easy to tell whats going to happen to your mech and the way it will.

some of the races just are impossible to get higher than 2nd place, just because for some reason the mechs in first just go so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fast there is no reason to even try to go for first.
i think a rubber banding would make for a better experience. just make it if a CPU racer is just supremely ahead slow them down somehow.

other than those few problems, fun little game. but buy it on sale. hopefully the sequel will make it better.

i used to play this game a whole ton, but this game had lost its luster, they added too much stuff, and ruined the fun of building a cool robot.

fun ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ video game, the movement feels ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ amazing to just walk around. just the combos and stuff. short, but for 5 bucks, amazing. great for when you are busy and want something to beat.
the music is great! it doesn't get annoying.
and some fat thighs that i wish i had oml.

i really like this game! its fun as ♥♥♥♥, and is a good return to form for halo! but i do have a number of gripes.

first of all, selling colors was the single most stupidest decisition ever. just, how or why did they think that was a good idea, and second of all, since you are selling colors, why the ♥♥♥♥ don't you have just every color combo under the sun, it would have probably taken you legit, 5 minutes to do that.

please keep the grapple hook and the extra stuff! please please please! dont listen to the people who just want to play halo 3, but again. keep the donkey kong throwing! its so good, and ive played a bunch of the campagin, and its really good too. but i dont play too many open world games but i liked the open world, but i dont know.

but, this is basic halo fun. just with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥ store attached to it.

this game is very good, i tipically find horror games cheap and unfun when it comes to a video game, the genre just doesnt really fit well in a medium about control and stability in my opinion. but this game makes me feel in control in the since that i can make choices.
"do i want to bring a flash light and a walky talky? or do i want to just deal with having a flashlight? or maybe i could live with no flash light and just pick up every scrap i find." or "hey its getting late, maybe i should cut my losses and leave."
the game makes you think about these questions. and whenever i play a video game, i want choices even if the choices don't matter that much. i just want to have to think about them.
the monsters are all very scary, but in a very controlled way. which i like. and the way you get around them keep you scared. even if you do know how to deal with the braken it can still get you if your not on gaurd. although two monsters i find slightly less thought through is the thumper and the jester. those ones pretty much require you to aither have a shovel or other weapon, or just leave the building. which quite frankly don't like. like maybe you could appease the jester by giving it some scrap, the bigger the scrap the more time it will take to wind up. or something like that. and for the thumper, id say ways of distracting it. cause right now its avoid it on sight. but i feel like this isnt enough for the gameplay to not be halted by the thumper.
this game is mostly only fun if you have more than 2 people, because other than that, your going to die a lot. i mean, that's part of the fun. but still just something for the dev to think about if they see this.

maybe this is just me, but the game is a little TOO dark at times, feels like a flash light is nessisarry. at least to me.
its only limited to four players, there is a mod for this. but still this game i feel is so much better with more people. although a little easier, which isnt a bad thing. this game isnt particularly difficult, its just easy to die due to an accident rather than a lack of skill.
some things should save over runs, like suit colors. again mods for this, but still.
this is a very good game, and i see it staying in pop gaming culture for quite a while, seeing as phasmophobia is still quite popular even though that game is a 50/50 shot on it being fun or not.

this game is very modable, in the since that the tone and the over all gameplay isnt changed by having a bunch of mods. but please dont take this as a positive or negitive, im trying to review this game by its base game.
