I'm aware that anyone voicing negativity towards this game currently gets labeled as angry old men, but truely, I can't recommend this game as a Silent Hill game.

The game alright. - God knows we've had worse games in the SH series.
The atmosphere is pretty creepy and the sound design specifically is 10/10, but that's where the praise ends.

Most of all, I think everything is way too fast pased. Good as the atmosphere is, you've never got a slow moment to let the dread stick in. - It seems like the game was made for combat first, but then, seeing as you aren't meant to fight everything, they didn't make combat feel good either, leaving us stuck somewhere in the awkward middle, where nothing is scary, and nothing feels good about the game.
It's just frustrating.

I've yet to complete the game fully, and I'm not sure if I will at this point, but 7 hours in, I *still* don't care about anyone in the story. When the most interesting character is the one they seemingly designed for you to hate as much as possible, it doesn't bode too well.
Not even Magical Mr. Fox is interesting.

I really love this series, and I'm truely happy to see its return to such praise. - But if this is the route the series is headed from here on out, me and my antequated opinions are probably about to be left behind.

TL;DR: It's an alright game, but it's just not Silent Hill. (Now see to calling me an angry old man.)

This game is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ satisfying.
While not as scary as other entries in the series, I can absolutely see why this game is so beloved.
It's outright addicting.

It's a silly game, with a silly story.
Somewhat entertaining, but ultimately just not very good in my opinion. - I'd call the game mediocre at best and a buggy mess at worst.

Takes a minute to get used to, but once you're settled in, it's so much fun and insanely satisfying to weave in and out of a blaze of bullets and lasers, taking out targets as you go.
Fromsofts' games usually make you feel like an insignificant little being in a cruel, meaningless world (which I adore to be fair), so it's fun to see their take on a powerfantasy where you're seemingly a God amongst men in a giant robot.

This game feels so astonishingly good to play, and I've been utterly unable to get it off my mind since I started playing it. - I almost forget how shocking I am at Street Fighter.
Looking forward to seeing how the game develops, and how the upcoming characters will be!

A challenging, yet absolutely fair FPS, moving at 900km/h.
While the skill-floor might be low, the deep movement system, style-system and all the different unique weapons interaction with each other, the skill *ceiling* is nowhere to be seen; I honestly believe you could play this game for 400hrs and still find new ways to improve your gameplay.
This is an absolute must play for any FPS enthusiast.

Translating the first Risk of Rain into 3D can't have been an easy task, but they somehow pulled it off perfectly. This game is essentially perfect.
