This is a great casual game to grind away at and waste some time. If you don't like grinding or don't want to spend money the game isn't for you. The free to play model is one of the most fair in gaming today. You have to pay platinum (the premium currency) to unlock additional warframe and weapon slots but you can sell items that you can obtain by playing the game for free to other players to get platinum so you can buy more slots for warframes and weapons.

Story is irrelevant imo. Game play is crisp, quick, clean, and challenging. Furier difficulty turns it up to 11 if the regular game difficulty mode isn't hard enough for you. Easily recommended. I bought this at full price when it came out and would even recommend it even at that.

I am writing this review because I saw a negative review complaining of the difficulty even on easy among other things. I would like to address the difficulty because though I don't see this as an easy game I feel like it is not as hard as the first and unlike this other person claimed you do not need to min max. Keeping all of your characters gear at least somewhat up to date with you level (within 3-4 levels) is required for noermal at least. In the first I did go back and forth between easy and normal but in the second I have stayed at normal the entire time, granted that could be because I have gained experience from the first, but you always have the option of switching difficulty mid game if a certain part proves to hard. Over all this is a great story driven game and I would recommend it to anyone interested in isometric RPGs.

tl;dr - Game is fun if you think normal is to hard you can switch back and forth mid game - spend some money keeping gear upgraded.
