This is an awesome and fun game! While it features combat inspired by FromSoftware titles, it's not punishingly difficult. Not every game in this genre needs to be brutally challenging.

The only downside I found was the platforming. It can feel clunky at times, especially when climbing to the top of certain surfaces. Additionally, the double jump mechanic seems inconsistent, not always triggering if you don't jump off certain platforms.

However, the game excels in many areas. The humor and references to its inspirations are clear indicators of the love poured into its development. The diverse levels are packed with secrets to discover, and cleverly designed shortcuts connecting you back to earlier areas. The combat system, while simple, is very good. The classic dodge roll and parry mechanics combine to create thrilling encounters that rival fights from FromSoftware titles.

Overall, I highly recommend this game to both experienced and newcomers to the genre.

At first, I had my doubts as to whether Armored Core 6 would be as enjoyable as its soul counterparts. However, after playing the game I could not have been more wrong. The landscape and art design were absolutely breathtaking. The game constantly provides you with new parts to enhance your AC and play style. The combat is some of my all time favorite, Armored Core 6 takes what it's learned from the previous titles and mixes that with a hint of Sekiro. All the bosses are fast-paced and some are very difficult. All in all, I would highly recommend this game to anyone willing to accept the challenge.

Moonscars is a totally bad-ass game. The world design, bosses, and combat were all excellent. Even though the game is on the shorter side, it makes up for it by being a good experience from beginning to end. While it integrates a lot of ideas from its forerunners, it also builds upon them with a variety of new mechanics that make for a fun game. Anyone who likes Hollow Knight should definitely check it out.

Truly a masterpiece

Ok, I seriously love this game it's practically perfect. For starters amazing combat I love the fast pace parrying and the high risk high reward posture system. All the bosses feel great to fight except the ape gank but mortal blade can take the second ape out quickly. Level design and world building are also really good pair that with a good story and you've got a recipe for success. Highly recommend to anyone willing to accept the challenge.

I can't give this game enough praise, I went in practically blind and got one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had. The world is just insanely good and the music always matches what the developers are trying to portray. Exploring this world was such a breath of fresh air from the amount of trash that's been coming out, It's crazy to think three people made a game with this much depth and love into every single inch of it. Okay so we all know the game is hard but Hollow Knight does it's difficulty amazingly, The fights are fair and telegraphed. I've only had one boss that I straight up didn't enjoy which would be Watcher Knights; it's still a fair fight, it's just not a particularly enjoyable one. My only negative with this game is starting off you will most likely will be overwhelmed and confused, however once you start figuring things out it's only up hill.
