Pros:
The overall concept has lot of potential and the story is well thought through so far. The art style is very clear thoughtout and works well with nostalgic values but keeps a distinct style that makes the in-universe company feel more unique, helped by out of game conent such as trailers and animated shorts with the same aesthetic. Each chapter has felt distinct but continued the overall story in some fashion, whether that be through the main narrative of the Ink Demon and Joey Drew, or happened to certain old employees. The story has kept me interested and the score is very well composed, along with the chapters receiving updates to improve any issues previously seen in the games tone (such as making a more blank room feel more interesting by filling it with ink or adding hidden secrets).

Cons:
The game is quite basic from a gameplay perspective with simple puzzles, fetch quests and walks from point A to point B. There is also a small issue with pacing as Chapter 1 is very bare-bones due to being used originally as a demo for the full game. Finally there is a repetition problem in which some quests and enemies feel same-y and overall just very arbitrary.

Conclusion:
It's definitely a very dividing game and depends on what you're looking for from it when entering. If you're looking for a fun little narrative with a cool art style and don't mind exploring areas while having an element of horror thrown in here and there, I'd say this is a good game for you. However, if you're looking for unique/enticing gameplay or something that is sure to genuinely make you feel scared or fearful, this probably won't be your cup of tea. I personally am in the former group and thus will be looking forward to seeing how the story wraps up in the last two chapters yet to be released, as well as any future updates to the previous chapters.
