The game is a bit of a slow burn since you need better relics to get rolling, but once you do man is it a ton of fun.

I've played games I paid for less than this free demo.
I keep playing the same 4 songs for hours in infinite disco because the game is just that good.
Can't wait to see the finished game and play with those editor tools for my own songs!

If you like high amounts of customization for your mech and gameplay that feels both weighty for attacks but fluid for combat, you're going to have a great time.

The game feels like Guns of Icarus combined with FTL to me, and it mixes surprisingly well together.

The game can be a bit buggy with some of the interfaces leaving you unable to craft/recycle materials but you can always exit the run with your team to keep the loot. This makes it forgiving enough to get past the early access bugginess.
Even better with any disconnects friends can rejoin with ease and as long as they're in the ship when you finish, all the loot and XP is kept.

I highly recommend using a mic, especially if you're the pilot. Communication will make or break your run, and I appreciate the game has a moderate early game and it can get really hectic on the harder difficulties.

Can't wait to see this game get polished and become a cult classic.

Its so hard to put into words what an experience this game is. Go in blind, you'll be much happier you did as the game is a masterpiece. It's all about asking questions and putting together the pieces of those questions as you explore this set of worlds that was here long before you and are still changing as you walk across them.
Don't be afraid to put the game down for awhile if you get stuck, the best parts of this game are thinking over the puzzles and coming up with new ways to approach a situation. The game won't hold your hand but leaves breadcrumbs scattered in every direction. If you've beaten your head down a path, no problem, come back to it. There's plenty more to explore and you may find the answer or knowledge you need tucked into a quiet path you hadn't looked into before.

This is the culmination of everything From Soft has learned over the years with the souls games. Game-play is tight, and quite varied. Customizations with weapon arts really mixes up how the gameplay can work. The world is massive and detailed and for those with the eyes to look closely an intricate story is woven between the broken fragments of the world that was before.

If you're a Sonic fan you owe it to yourself to pick this one up. This really feels like the next step for Sonic and there's a lot of little love letters to fans scattered into the game from sound design, referencing older games in dialogue, to even some sections feeling like modern recreations of old levels.
It's not a perfect game, the open world sections need some polish so you're not launching off of a slightly angled rock, PC needs some extra settings to customize the graphics and it can be a little jank at times but damn did this feel like Sega is really trying to push Sonic games forward with this. I can't wait to see what they do next with this.

The soundtrack is amazing, I haven't been drawn in to the entire soundtrack like this since Adventure 2 with several Super Sonic tracks the main bosses each felt their own flavor of climatic.
