not all developers have the luxury, time or money to fix a game but for those who do take note. never seen a game with such hype and then let down make a come back like this.

Playable fever dream

Half life Alyx is one of the most well crafted experience ive had in my life.

I work in VR for a living almost everyday and im very glad to see this platform given a game that finally has the substance & story to back the novelty of playing in VR.

From the visual design of City 17's QZ to the well crafted droning ambience of the Vault this game is oozing with craftsmanship from its makers. It succeeds in being different from its predecessors but simultaneously holds onto the essence of what makes a half life game half life. Its ending is one of the most self aware and respectful conclusions to a game ive ever seen.

Valve has knocked it out of the park with this incredible addition to the Half life Franchise.

To limit modding is creative and artistic suicide for games.

The Modding scene helps push games forward in there scope and allow players to create and experiment with new ideas. Limiting players and creators to help mold and try new things. without the modding community to come up with new ideas can lead to stagnation and retreads of games year after year. its literally free inspiration for gaming companies and they dont have to even pay the modding community these people do it out of there own interest in making a game better.
