Not fun.

Bought it because I like the whole "ariships" theme. The game is really ugly, and I don't mean graphically. I mean the environement is uninsoiring, bland. They could have done a lot but they decided to go with Spider-Man on the Playstation X / N64. Sucks.

Gameplay is mediocre. I enjoy all the elements pertaining to building an airship. I enjoy nothing that involves any assortment of the harvester/scanner or any other unimaginative, un-fun tools youre equipped with. Harvesting is particular weird. The ridiculous range almost makes harvesting resource TOO convinient somehow.

Not much else to say, I somewhat wish I could refund this but it's an hour or two too late.

Also, I just really don't appreciate the Ukrainian shoe-ins. That issue isnt my problem or concern, I don't see Chilean vases in game. Peruvian artefacts.

Honestly, if you can get it for a couple of bucks but only to say you did.

The Good:
- Cruise ship environment is a cool throwback to RE Dead Aim, a game only slightly worse than this by any metric

The Bad:
- Uninspired story
- Re5, Re6, Re Rev 1, Re Rev 2 are from a malaise era for Resident Evil and these games are best forgotten
- There's no reason for the last boss, a named character you have zero emotional connection, to be so difficult
- There's no reward to beating this game because again, the story is just nonsensical and uninspired

Excellent remake AND remaster.

Literally perfect in every way. The mansion is like an ever-evolving Rubick's Cube. Where this remake/remaster shines is that they literally only added upon what made the first game great. The umpteen ways you can achieve an end result in this game is so good. Wish the REmakes followed this game's example. Just perfection.

woke cuckery + lame coop.

Very poorly optimized for a game that looks to be from the early 2000s.

Put the time mode in x8 and the game lags, or worse crashes.

Controls are essentially ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, both keyboard and mouse AND gamepad which is not even functional.

Game isn't worth $8 on sale, or the 11.99 otherwise. Shame really.

Pass, hate to say it. I see the attempt but it's pretty poorly executed. The AI is pretty rudimentary, the UI is frankly terrible, but worse is it's just a pain to set up and play. For me personally I'd rather just refund and walk away then bother trying to set this up for two hours. Some scenarios the enemy wont spawn. You get a somewhat standard loadout, so that means: >Spawn in Bunker Hill >Have WWI era weapons >Have to manually change your loadout

The problem is furthered in that you can get Brass Brigade for half of this and that's a "finished" experience, and quite fun. This just doesn't seem to add up while offering a similar experience. It is great that this touches up on several theaters, but it's just a taste of what could be better, which somehow makes this even disheartening.

Only thing it's missing is the Psygnosis splash screen for maximum Ps1 nostalgia. Genuinely an ace rally game to boot, for cheap. Has all the Group B heroes, physics are fun.
