Overall a much better experience than the first game but I would personally wait for this to be patched before playing/buying. The skateboarding makes combat feel fluid and fun whereas in the first one, it kinda felt stale. It feels a little crappy that they replaced Kenny with Trevor however (I'm aware of the reasoning that Kenny isn't in this. JR is a POS), they could have added a brand new gun that was completely different to use. Trevor has the same abilities except dual wield later on. Just kinda feels lazy?

So far, I've had the following bugs:

1. I rebound the weapon wheel key to mouse 4 except sometimes when using the wheel, the game acts like the window is no longer in focus (using borderless windowed mode) and I can no longer aim unless I right click and ADS. Sometimes it refocuses but most of the time I've had to reset the chapter.

2. Had a weird bug where the camera just went on the fritz and chose to duplicate every image on the screen apart from the HUD. I had to restart the game for it to resolve this.

3. chapter 3/4 (depending on choice), during the first boss fight the boss glitched through the floor making it a pain to attack/see attacks. I could literally only see down to their shoulders.

4. Game crashes randomly. It can be running perfectly fine and then bam, crash. No indication of what could cause it either.

5. When using the skateboard there's a movement glitch where it stretches the legs out really far but you're unable to increase speed on the board. This was super annoying when doing the races in the beach area because for some unknown reason, there's no way to restart the race and this glitch just adds like 10-15 secs to the timer. Using restart checkpoint doesn't restart from the start of the race either as the race start doesn't count as a checkpoint oddly.

If it's not some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with rockets peppering you from 3 countries away, it's some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with dual blades blocking EVERYTHING you do.

No treasure chests, no orbs, no exploration, no fun.

Go play any of the other Ninja Gaiden games as they're all fantastic apart from vanilla NG3 which is somehow worse than this crap show.
