This game is unique. It is a sword swinging genre. You are warrior in the olden times. Massive 100v100 fights. Get the feel of what it was like to be in the chaos of large battles, swords and shields clanging in your ears. Every character another player like you trying to survive the madness. Open world skirmishes and pvp. Castle sieges and guild fights. Claim your territory and defend against rival guilds. Manly 1v1 duels of honor.
One of my all time favorites. This game coming back to life is like a dream come true for me. I missed it and was looking for a game like it, alas none are there. This is the only of its kind. Give it a chance! Gamigo is bringing this gem back to life. I would recomend this to anyone who likes swinging sword skill games, or has interest in the genre.

Very dissapointed by the reviews saying this isnt tribes, and itts not like tribes 2 no vehichles etcetera.
I almost did not try this game because of reading these negative reviews. Im very glad i did not listen to the bad reviews.

I have played tribes 2 thats where i fell in love with the genre, played more tribes titals like vengance and ascend.

tribes rivals, for what there is now is really great. The graphics and phisics in the game feel like the old but look like the new. It feels like a fast pase arena, maps are smaller but the action is packed.

How i missed skiin the slopes and serving the enemy blue disc specials while getting chased or vhasing an enemy flag carrier.

Shame on all the people giving this game a bad review, you are not a tribes fan but rather a salty has been noob. Sorry guys, but if we want to see the old tribes back we need to give games like this a chance. Everything is here, if we want bigger maps and vehicles best chance is giving this game the fare following it deserves and maybe this wil be added later. I dont care I already love the game as it is, and the game states stil subject to change. Shame on these bad reviews, after reading the reviews and playing the game myself al i can say is the bad reviews are full of crap. If you want that tribes feel you have it alreadyy ion this game minus the vehicles and large map. wich imo have little to do with serving enemy's fresh blue plate splatter in the face.

As of writing I have played 52 hours.

My personal opinion of this game is very positive. However an objective view i wil try to have in this recomendation.

For an extraction game its fresh, the 3 factions playing on a singular big map offers alot of fun intertaction with team mates and opposing forces. Its fun and realistic to hear enemy's using the voice chat unknown that enemy's can here them when they talk in group chat.

It plays as an hardcore extraction game, but it is more forgiving. Creating a very comfortable setting to enjoy the game.

Do you want to just pve and chill with mates completing quests and unlocking new parts for rifles you wish to pimp. Thats possible to choose before you start a match.

You can also choose to opt in for pve and pvp, making quests alot more challanging to compelete with enemy teams around. The game doesnt lie when it says you can play the way you want.

I am 33 years and have playing video games since i was a small boy. I hope my objective view on this game helps whoever is thinking of getting into this game.

I really love it, the concept is new (albeit bein an extratcion game). Comfortable to play. Does favor AMD cards for SSLD video settings. A bit hardware dependant still, can be more optimized. But an absolute gem of a game. Hope more people enjoy the game and leave a positive review to get this game the attention that it deservers.
