Early Access Review
For an EA game it's pretty solid with a lot of content already. And fun to Co-op with friends.

Great fun once you manage to get the hang of surviving. Even more fun with friends.

Forced 62Gb download even if you haven't bought the expansion. This update then also breaks the base game, and any mods you might have used. Well done Funcom, you might want to take the "Fun" out of your name because dealing with the fallout from your new expansion isn't fun at all.

I've been a fan of the Megami Tensei games since the Playstation 1 days, and for me the Persona games are some of my favorites from the MT universe.

Loved Persona 3, which I finished on PS2, and later got Persona 3 FES and finished that a couple of times as well. When Persona 4 released it didn't disappoint, and I finished it twice on PS2, and again on the PS Vita when Persona 4 Golden came out.

And I'm happy to say that this PC port is a great effort by Atlus.

If you've never played any of the Persona games I strongly recommend getting this game, it's a great JRPG. Visually it might feel a bit dated compared to some of the newer games out there, but the gameplay and story more than makes up for that.

Now I'm just waiting for the announcement on Persona 5 Royal for PC and I'll be over the moon.

While the game has quite a number of bugs, some of which can block quest progression, overall it's an enjoyable outing into a fictional medieval time.

They've really made amends for the disastrous launch with the content updates.

If you haven't played Life is Strange or Life is Strange: Before the Storm I suggest you play the episodes in this sequence:

LiS:BtS Farewell
LiS:BtS Episode 1-3
LiS Episode 1-5

This will put the events in a chronological order that will make most sense.

Having played the original Life is Strange before I came into Before the Storm, I knew that I should prepare myself for an emotional journey seeing how I knew the future of these characters from Arcadia Bay. Seeing the last credit roll after finishing the final episode I realized I didn't prepare myself enough.

Sure, there's some inconsistencies in the plot between BtS and the original LiS, and there's some pacing issues in episode 3, but even those can not detract from a journey that leaves you feeling like you've just been kicked in the chest by a mule, wondering why people would cut onions while you're trying to play games.

Both Life is Strange, and Life is Strange: Before the Storm are two of the best examples of emotional story telling you'll find in games to date, and if you haven't played them yet my only question to you would be: What are you waiting for?

Had fun with the game until Gaz started updating some of the core mechanics to prepare for the console release of the game. No matter how much they claim that the console release is not the reason for most of these changes, even a trained monkey will be able to notice how most of the changes cater 100% to exactly this purpose.

I still sporadically played every now and then, but once they started with locking almost all new content behind a paywall using the Fortune Card system I decided to call it quits for good. Forcing people that would be willing to pay for costumes and characters/team-ups from the store like it used to work to now have to pay even more on an extremely biased gamble system to try and get the same items just doesn't sit right with me.

I clocked a lot a of hours in the game, spent quite a bit of money as well, but I just don't feel like playing it anymore because the parts of the game that made it really fun for me has now been butchered at the altar of Greed.
