Early Access Review
What a game. I was legit not expecting to be as into this, but I find myself diving straight back in after losing runs, which is a good sign. The melting pot is just right here, doing enough of its own thing, and with a lot of polish.

Does some novel things in the space, which also covers an area (the Bio-Zombie stuff) that I've not personally experienced done with this kind of game, so that's fresh. I'm not going to list off all the things it does a bit different, as that's likely in other reviews. The game is good, though, so as usual, if you like this stuff, you will be into this game.

You might want to turn the sound effects down a bit, as the guns can get a bit much. It was way less tinnitus-inducing this way, lol.

EDIT: After playing a lot more of this game, I think it might be my favorite Survivor game (and I've played all the best ones). This one just feels right. When I'm playing this game, it feels like I'm playing Zombie Survivors, not playing a Zombie-flavored version of this game or that game. It genuinely feels like its own thing.

The enemies, the variety, how they are employed, etc., when combined with all the options you have from a 3-person team, lead to some of the most chaotic and memorable times I've had playing games this year.

I have to keep reminding myself the game is still in Early Access, too. The game feels finished. If you were concerned about it being an Early Access game, don't be; there is a lot of product here, and it's all of a high level of quality, too.

So this game basically feels like a mash-up of Risk of Rain 2 and a survivor game. The movement stuff is a nice touch, too.

So the very basic premise of the game is to start a level and very quickly move around the map, picking up all your power-ups and what have you. You don't want to dally, farming mobs at the start. Use the time you have to get stronger, and then start to fight the enemies. If you go into the game with this in mind, you will do way better.

It's still a pretty hard game, but if these kinds of themes in games are something you're into, I think you'll enjoy it.

Great game. Cheap price. If you like crafting, mining, roguelites, etc, get it. You will like it.

The game is a unique combination of elements, working with popular genres like Roguelite/like and survivor-like gameplay, classic survival/crafting, tower defence, and more.

I held off leaving a review at first because there were a couple of concerns I had with the game. The devs have been working hard to address these issues, however, and I now feel the game is at a point where I can recommend it to others.

It will likely take you a good few runs to get the meta upgrades needed to get your first win. Once you improve certain stats, the game becomes way more approachable, however. If you are put off by the roguelite idea of starting very weak, picking key meta upgrades to move further, and then having free respecs to tailor as you go, then the game probably isn't for you.

As far as "survivor-like" auto battler style games go, it's an incredibly unique game. The mix of styles is something I'm very into, but you'll have to play it and see for yourself. Judging by the response from the team behind the game in regards to tweaking the game, I feel this will only get even better.

A lot of the earlier negative reviews are based on a build of the game that was missing some features like banning towers, key info about how towers interact is now included in the game (some stuff was missing prior) and general balancing. The game feels in a much better place than it did a week ago (at release).

Seriously forgot how good this game is. I originally played it on the Switch. I think it may have been one of the first Roguelites I ever played, too; just didn't know it at the time.

This game is a masterpiece. Everything from the art style to the different styles of combat you get to experience, from character to character. I see almost 50 people on my friends list have played this game, too.

Just started the game, but wanted to get a review out to help out. The gameplay is there, the UI is a little basic, but it all works. The area that could use work (IMO) is the sound. If we had punchier sounding shotguns, etc., it would add a lot to it.

For 3 quid, however, you can't really go wrong. Solid survivor game, only the UI is very basic, and the sound is a little quieter than I would have liked.

EDIT: I realize a lot of stuff in this game is broken, or unfinished, etc. With the game in this state, and no "Early Access" tag, this is a little bit concerning. Be aware of this, if you decide to buy.

The bones are here, TBH quite a bit of meat, too. The game is clearly unfinished, however.

Strong concept for a game. Some language barrier, so a little ambiguous with the card descriptions in some cases, etc, but can live with it.

I've only just started it, so haven't really begun to touch on the synergies, but from what I did play, I enjoyed it, and got a taste for the tactics and synergies you can develop within one of the games Houses (which are essentially the different decks).

If you like Roguelite Deckbuilders, and want a game that is unique, fast paced, and offers a lot of variety for synergies and tactics, it will definitely be worth checking out. Just be ready for some minor translation issues, and also some ambiguous wording on the cards (although this is also minor. It's not all the cards).

Only just started it, but can tell this is going to be a great game. A lot of love and care have gone into this.
Beat the first boss on my first try, but it did get close towards the end. Difficulty felt just about right.

Great game, very fresh experience. Not just another Hades-Like, this plays way more like a true ARPG, then a bullet hell, and actually feels a lot like Path of Exile, and Path of Exile 2 (PoE 2 with the WASD movements, for sure).

This game plays differently to all of the other similar looking Roguelites out there, and it's better than Hades, IMO. I'm honestly bored with that format in Hades, and I'm clamouring for games with unique aspects to them to hook me. Hell Clock is one of those games, 100%.

I eagerly await the expansion, although I only just started Act 3. I'm sure it will keep me bsu yfor a while

Probably the best "Survivor" game.
