If you love digging through a web of menus and interfaces to craft the same things over and over to replenish your supplies after you get shot in the back of the spine, this game is for you. There is also a little mini game you can play to go collect loot but there are some mean peeps out there.

Fun TD game. My only gripes are - I wish it were longer (for the price I can't complain) and it doesn't give you much detail at all. I would like to see the stats of my towers, for example.

Games like these are treasures. Short but impactful. Shout out to Tyler for showing this one to me.

This game channels what I consider the golden era Final Fantasy (7,8,9,10 - 6 is great too but this game definitely feels more like the later games) in away that no other game has done since, not even Squenix can come close these days. What a gem. The music, the artwork, the combat and it's systems, the characters, the story. All best in class. The game made me laugh, made me cry (only other game to do that is To The Moon), and made me not want to put it down but when I had to - it made me think about it while not playing, too. Only 7 hours played at the time? That is because I played this game first on PS5, this is my second time through and it's even better the second go so far.

Those theater kids made a good game. For being a switch game the game is very aesthetically pleasing, it's not cutting edge in graphics which I know turns some people off but the art direction more than makes up for it IMO. That isn't what the game is about, though, it's a narrative focused game at the of the day and I am quite a fan of the world they created and how they worked the characters(if you can say that lol) through it. The gameplay is there to move along the narrative and let you get explore the world and get more out of it if you so chose. It's hard to say why the story is so good without revealing things, so you'll have to go in blind. Lots of thought provoking dialog about clones / how parent's life and traumas can affect kids and their kids but im sure you've figured that out reading reviews already.

I beat it in two 4-5 hour segments which is rare for me to really sit down and power through a game like that. Hence, the full recommendation. If you don't want a narrative focused game, stay away.

Fun game, cool setting, japanese goofiness mixed with a serious plot. Underrated gem

Really glad I put the time to start this one and get a decent ways, once I played far enough it got the hooks in me and didn't let go. I was playing Alan Wake 2 but put it down for a quick detour through control and I have to say - going back to Alan Wake 2 felt like a downgrade. Control was easily one of my top games of last year (When I finally got around to playing it). Close to a 10/10 for me. A damn cool game to play.
