The game is amazing! That's the short of it.

Started with some instability issues but the devs have been outstanding at addressing and communicating and there have been several patches in just a few days. Me and my 3 friends didn't personally experience any of the server issues or glitches that other people have, and the game is an awesome sequel to the first. All of the personality, excitement. and distilled RPG fun has been amped up to 11.

You might see negative reviews about the difficulty of the game, but that is honestly a skill issue. The game is designed to be a challenge and in the first one me and my friends failed a dozen times before any real success even on normal difficulty (journeyman), but each time it was incredibly satisfying to learn more and make progress, so stick with it and it will be super rewarding.

The main criticism i can make is that some of the UI elements aren't as clear or user-friendly as they could be, with tool tips not explaining stuff with enough detail (I still don't fully understand how bleed, burn, and poison damage, is calculated for instance so it can be tricky to make an informed decision sometimes). Also now that the positioning of your characters and the enemies on the battlefield actually matters, some of the camera angles make it a bit of a pain to properly navigate that. then theres some minor things such as other players actions dragging you around the map and closing menus you were in, and opening the inventory really frustratingly takes you to the active players character rather than the one you control, BUT it's very important to not that this is miles improved from For The King 1, and they have set out quality of life updates coming in the future that will hopefully address this and make the game experience smoother!

Me and my friends truly love this series and it's devs deserve massive props for their passion and dedication and for just making a fun and actually complete game. It's difficult, but stick with it!

P.S. Iron Oak give me a job!

Not bad if you're into the blasphemy of depicting gods in games.
