the game still has a lot performance issues. low frame rate, long latency for commands and so on. also most features are not yet included, such as auto management for your buildings and so on. however, the gameplay by itself looks very appealing. all the issues mentioned above are the result of Early Access releases and I am sure, GolemLabs are aware and are working on solutions. I am sure, that these issues are going to be fixed by the actual release date next year. I am looking forward to a very addicting, time consuming and fun game!

Very nice game! Despite it being a little old, it gives you the whole epic fantasy feeling you would expect from a superb game. Even though the controls (basically only keyboard, no mouse) take a little getting used to, they help making Gothic II a unique and unforgettable gaming experience.
For the bugs I recommend the Community patches featured on World of Players. Yes, this game is sometimes bugged, but these bugs are usually fixed by wobbling around with your character (when you get stuck somewhere) or, in the worst case, restarting the game.

For the best and purest experience, I recommend playing it in German (if you understand it), since that is the original voice acting, the English translation sometimes makes you cringe a little.
