I'm only recommending this because it scratches that nostalgic itch.

Pros:
- Nostalgia
- Music
- I like the art style and animations
- Online multiplayer

Cons:
- No ability to dash or roll like in Streets of Rage 3
- The "Star Move" is a glorified get-off-me special that doesn't risk your health and deals negligible damage

Overall:
This game doesn't hold a candle to Streets of Rage Remake. Fight'N Rage is also a superior title in this genre. I'd say to pick it up whenever it goes on sale for $5 to $10 if you plan to play by yourself if you're like me and don't have any friends!

In the not-too-distant future, the year will be 2007. And this game shows you that future in Hi-Fi Stereo on VHS, the undisputed standard in home entertainment. Just remember to rewind!

In spite of having to deal with Uplay, this is an awesome experience to be had.

Co-op digital screen swiping and tapping at its finest! Oh, and there's analog button-pressing and switch-toggling with the original Enterprise, so even you old-schoolers can party like it's 1966!

Here's a basic rundown of what each position does:

As Captain, you get to boss people around.
As Helm, you get to bump into asteroids without taking a scratch.
As Tactical, you get to blow things up.
As Engineer, you get to take all the blame for your crewmates' inadequacies.

Seriously, it's even more fun than I'm making it sound, if you can believe it!

It's a shame that a game like this can't be made in the United States of America today thanks to the Social Justice Inquisition run by the Church of Political Correctness which would label a game like this as *ist, *phobic, etc. All of which are just modern-day ways of shouting "heretic".

So a big thank you goes out to the Free Lives team from South Afreeka for making a game where the men are men, the guns don't have legislatively-limited magazines, and the bad guys are meant to be obliterated instead of reasoned with.

And if you and I don't do this, then you and I may well spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it once was like in America when men were free.

And to you Social Justice Inquisitors out there: I'll always be happy to be your *ist, *phobic heretic.

The reason to play this game is for the story. Don't be fooled by those that may say you have to make difficult choices during the game because, aside from the four possible endings, you are more of an observer that is thrust into difficult situations alongside Captain Walker, the protagonist. And when you do play the game through, you are sort of left to draw your own conclusions about the experience (or read some fan theories if your only conclusion was, "Uhh, what?").

The biggest downside to this game is the controls. Sprinting, in particular. I guess that's the "difficult decision" in this game, isn't it? You can choose when to begin sprinting. After that, you're just along for the ride until Walker decides when it's appropriate to stop...past the cover you wanted to duck behind. Great choice. Now you're dead. I also love when developers intentionally make certain parts of a game incredibly frustrating; here, it's Chapter 13 (just be sure to get the two Intel items the first time around so you never have to go back to that level again).

To quickly summarize: the story is good but not as great as some say it is, the controls can be irritating, and Chapter 13 is a pain. At the end of the day, I enjoyed it and think it's worth a playthrough.

This is a short, fun little tour thorugh the underworld. It isn't as fun as the rest of the Sains Row games, but fans of the series should appreciate it.

This is a pretty fun murder mystery story set around the late '80s where characters from fairy tales have a little community in New York. Even though the game is mostly point-and-click, the action sequences are a little bit different to mix things up.

The only downsides I found were the last two episodes being very short; it would have made more sense if they combined the two into a single episode considering the time it takes to complete each of the first three. The other thing is your choices only seem to affect whatever is happening in that moment and don't really have a noticeable impact on the story being told.

I found it to be enjoyable enough to play through three times to see the other characters' reactions: once as a good guy, once as a jerk, and the last saying as little as the game would allow me to. It only needs to be played through a single time, but if you want all of the achievements, certain parts need to be played differently (make the opposite choice, go to a different location first, etc.) so you can grab those last few fable entries.

Overall, this game isn't Telltale's best work but it's definitely worth picking up when it goes on sale.
