This is not Elden Ring, and right now it's not perfect, but when the game clicks, it's really fun.

The Chalice upgrade system is rough. Having all player upgrades be completely RNG, with how many useless options there are, sucks. You can get new Chalices to swap gem colors, but it doesn't seem like the gem colors mean much.

It's too difficult to communicate with other players, and even is people are following pings, it's hard to follow when you're fighting a boss (A 'we need to leave' message alone would massively help).

But with a group of friends, the gameplay loop works, clearing bosses is satisfying, and the game is just fun.

Early Access Review
The game is mostly a buggier version of Antimatter dimensions.

I've had several significant, game-breaking bugs while I've played the game.

- Time flux is earned while offline and can be used to speed up the game, and I've had my flux underflow and give me extraordinarily, unusably large amounts of time flux, which ruined a large part of the game.
- I've had massive segments of the game bug out and fully reset for seemingly no reason.
- The game has outright failed to save after multiple hours losing tons of progress.
- Several achievements have completely broken and had to be unlocked with SAM .
- Recently my game froze, and it immediately (and permanently!) banned me from the online leader-boards because it thought I was cheating.

The game originally had a large amount of AI art that they traced over, has pay to win microtransactions, and worst of all, it's just not a very good idle game. It takes too much effort to keep it completely idle.

Just go try Antimatter Dimensions. It's better thought out and significantly more complete.

It's just really fun. Definitely needs some balancing, and maybe role queue, but it's just fun to play.

The DLC is extremely difficult, and after the first few patches, I think it's pretty much perfect.

I thought that the base game was largely too easy, and I think the DLC does a good job stepping up the difficulty a couple of notches, especially after the first few balance patches.

The map is incredibly dense and expansive, most of the new enemies and bosses are a joy to fight (though Furnace Golems get old after the first few), and all of the new weapons are excellent.

My only real gripe is initial boss aggro- quite a few bosses start sprinting the moment you enter the arena, and don't give nearly enough time to summon/buff. Worse yet, many of the important NPC summon signs are inside of boss arenas, meaning you have to rush to summon them before the boss gets close. The worst offenders have been fixed by moving them further from the fog gate, but I would like to see some more tweaks to it.

Also, at a couple points in the DLC, my framerate dropped to single-digits. Thankfully, it was only the first time entering a new area, and only in two specific spots, though I know some players have had far less luck than me.

Overall it's a nice challenge for experienced players, with far, far more content that I would have expected. Great purchase if you have already finished the game, or are near the end and want more out of the game.

A beautiful metroidvania with a ton of interesting tools and secrets.

This game is about exploration and discovery, so don't read too many reviews. If the game looks interesting from a glance, or you like Metroid games, I promise you'll enjoy it.

The monetization is offensive.

- There's 4 different currencies
- Characters cost either $10 of in-game currency, or far, far too much grinding to unlock.
- The PvE mode requires you to upgrade gems that take an enormous amount of time to rank up, or you can spend real money for gem experience
- Many of the challenges in the PvE mode require specific characters or certain character skins to complete, meaning you have to spend extra cash to complete bunch of challenges

Fun, but horribly expensive, and the game is probably going to die again within a month.

Like if Deep Rock Galactic had a baby with Starship Troopers.

I love minesweeper, and this is the best minesweeper puzzle game. Period.

While I was in college, I would leave this up, and if I was ahead on lectures or work, I would just look at it for a few minutes. It was always fun, and a welcome distraction from everything else.

And now, I just finished every puzzle, perfect clearing all of them.

Extremely interesting puzzles that add new mechanics, and push minesweeper-style puzzles to the absolute limit. Solving puzzles without making mistakes is extremely challenging, but ALWAYS doable, and if it proves too difficult, it's easy enough to just guess and check yourself, with no punishment other than the level number being a different color.

If you have any interest in Minesweeper, this is a fantastic purchase, and for the amount of entertainment I got from it, $3 is an absolute steal.

A stealth game with the cadence and rhythm of Oblivion NPC Dialogue, in all the best ways. 10/10.
