Been playing since the early playtests. While some patches are more enjoyable than others, this is one of, if not the greatest PvP game I've ever played. The PvE is an absolute blast too. You will get absolutely ♥♥♥♥ on at first but once you learn attack patterns you'll get the hang of it. The fact that there is a free option is just amazing.

I had some good times in New World, mainly doing a little PvP. And leveling can certainly be satisfying. The idea of the game is great. But the reality is that this might the most grindy and repetitive MMO there is and the PvE is just awful. In addition instead of balancing PvP they made the balance even worse as well as made the grind even worse than it already was. Amazon has no clue what they are doing. This game is just not worth your time or money.

I really have been enjoying this game. Ignore all the stupid reviews about microtransactions, it's all crap. The boxes don't make a difference. All those reviews are getting upvoted by people who never bought the game.

The game is really buggy, and there's a lot that isn't the way I thought it would be. Limited fortress battles, a endgame that I personally am not looking forward to for a spoiler filled reason, and simple things like dominated orcs.... disappearing? I have made a domination build and the dominated orcs vanish after I get a small distance away from them. They don't stick around like in Shadow of War.

Despite abilities often not working and skills being buggy, this game gives you that same badassery feel of Shadow of Mordor with more amazing tools at your disposal. I'd absolutely recommend buying the game, but not buying in game currency. If you want a game that you'll still be playing a year from now, in its current state, maybe you're better off waiting to see if they'll make fortress battles endless.
