When it comes to the gameplay though...eh.
It's feast or famine, with some units like the necromancer *really* tilted towards feasting and tinkerer tilted towards famine.

Until this game receives a few more balance patches, I wouldn't say it's exactly "fun" unless you play to a stock formula- which for a roguelike game is sometimes just out of your control.

More Dark Souls 2 than Hollow Knight.

More time waste, hard requirements, and go ♥♥♥♥ yourself if you have vision issues like I have.

With the sheer instability of the servers, on top of the poor state of optimization, this game cannot be recommended in good faith at the time. The mechanics are a ton of fun, even if repetitive at times or overly unbalanced in favor of certain stratagems. More than worth it's money.

Update for new releases: Yeah still very net negative. It's so janky that it disables bluetooth devices / ♥♥♥♥♥ up their settings, may not even start for some, and a whole treasure trove of vibe coded trash that'd give microslop a run for their money. The new easy-anticheat update outright disabled a swathe of players from even running it on their device when installed with other games, mainly due to other anti-cheats. A few client-side mods are screwy because of this as well, but that's to be expected.

Theres a few games that can realistically change your life. This is one of them.

This game needs serious help. I mean serious.

Which Is A Poor Implementation Of Serious Systems That Equally Result In Luck & Broken Balancing
(Can Actually Cause Game-Breaking Issues, Not Like 15+ Attack - But Serious Crashing On Systems)
