You can definitely tell it's in early access, but it's REALLY FUN! Some weapons have weirdly high recoil or unsatisfying scoping but I'm sure that will be improved in the future. I also don't like how hitboxes often extend too far and bullets get stopped by nothing.

One of the best FPS/MilSim games I've ever played. If you like realism in games, this one won't disappoint you. The immersion in this game is on another level, the community is great as well. The sound is probably the best I've heard in a game so far, way better than in ARMA III. Also, it's less complex than ARMA, but, I repeat, more immersive IMHO. Great game - 9/10.

Why is this game still relevant in 2019?

I'd say it's because it has an awesome skin economy.
I don't know any other game with a deeper economy. CS:GO skins have wear values, patterns, rarity tiers, a wide range of inflation rates (some are dropping a lot and some are not dropping at all)... I almost forgot to mention the most important part - the trade up system (it makes prices of skins stable and even deflationary). I personally play this game because you can make money by participating in the economy and it's really fun trying to beat the market. I also like collecting cool looking skins, which wouldn't be possible without the huge community of skin makers. Seriously, you can't beat the community skins no matter how good of a developer you are.
