This game be so fine, like a sloppy whopper fresh off the griddle

This games full release didn't disappoint me, the game is super fun and addicting and the gameplay loop is a good time if you're playing the game for fun rather than to grind. There is a resource grind (kind of) for corestones and blah blahs mid game but not too later on that gets solved, BUT again it's never in the way of actual progression or anything.

This game is a beat-em-up with a sorta monster hunter rougelike vibe going on and it's damn good, the combat is so crisp and stark between the different weapons that you never find yourself bored, and every weapon within it's own class freshens up the gameplay for that class enough that you always have a new toy to swing around. Armor can setup for really fun creative builds and the characters and monsters are all memorable and lovable which is hard to pull off cast wide in any game (But also, Klei is really good at that)

Klei doesn't often miss and this isn't an exception to that, though I wonder if the game was shadow dropped because they felt there wasn't enough interest or the game wasn't where they wanted it to be Or budget just ran out or whatever else, I really think they still made something super fun with this game and I can only hope we see more added later because everything is fine tuned and well designed.

If you see the recent "Mixed" reviews, legit it's all wax-philosophy on game design and stuff and I'm here to tell you just plug your eyes and sing la la la, this game is TIGHT like a spelunker horror story and HOT like fresh pizza rolls for realsies. With friends this game rules all night, and even solo it rocks all day, give it a play and do yourself the favor of playing something that's fresh and funky and doesn't go stale.

Don't listen to people baby raging that they "Paid for daily quests!!!" I can't even believe people would complain about paying for a DLC that openly says it adds unlocks and quests to keep you playing a dope game to unlock doper clothes in it lol

Mammoth coins are way too pricey though like DANG I hate paying $13 just to play as a "new character"
That's insane, idk how it's still that pricey but like yeah wth

This game looks really cool, it even has some cool ideas, and has some pretty silly jokes and character. But sadly, it's shallow, grindy gameplay, lack of functional settings and controls, straight up broken game mechanics, buggy characters doesnt get outweighed by it's positives. This game seems like something SOMEONE had put a lot of passion into, then something happened and they pushed out a crappy buggy mess. It's really sad honestly, this game seems like something that could have been a classic gem, but instead it's just a polished turd where a jewel could have laid.

Genital Jousting is a really goofy game with a story about a terrible young male seeking love in all the wrong ways in all the wrong places, and doing so while trying to maintain an appearance of collectiveness and experience despite having neither, it’s an incredibly silly but realistic story of self toxicity and how we sometimes assume correlation is causation with love and try to change ourselves to acquire it. It’s at it’s core a rise and fall of a character who seeks self gratification and lacks total personality or compassion, it’s a sad portrayal of a very average person who struggles with themselves emotionally and falls down a hole of self loathing and poor choices, the resolution of the tale being the main characters life long friend showing that it’s okay to show weakness and that all people are worthy of love should they see that there’s more to love than sex, and though the main character never ends up with a partner, he gains a strong sense of self worth and bond with his friend whom he’s grown with.
This games story isn’t long or overly complicated it’s just a terrible and relatable story that gives a super simple ultimatum:
Don’t dwell on love, sex, or material goods, instead appreciate the people around you and the love you have for them and yourself
And that penises are really funny
