War Thunder is a free-to-play combat game that offers a wide range of historic vehicles for players to choose from. The game is well-designed, with nicely modeled and textured vehicles that behave in a realistic way.

The damage system is also very good. However, the game has a steep learning curve, especially in air battles, and there’s no skill-based matchmaking. This means that new players will be fighting against more experienced players, which can be frustrating sometimes.

The game’s economy is balanced around the average player statistically, so if you’re playing below average, you will constantly struggle with the game’s grind (unless you buy premium)

The game is quite punishing if you’re not getting at least decent at the game relatively quickly

In summary, War Thunder is a great game with a lot of potential, but it requires a lot of time and effort to get good at it. If you’re willing to put in the time and effort, you’ll find that it’s a rewarding experience. However, if you’re looking for a more casual game, you might want to look elsewhere
