Well, then this game is exactly for you. Awesome performance,
lots of content, and a lot of fun!

I was one of the Alpha testers for the flat version. This version in
VR is exactly what those with VR headsets and RoboQuest were
waiting for!

If you know the flat version, you will feel right at home in VR. The
controls and gunplay is a lot of fun. The game is also constantly
updated.

The folks from Flat2VR Studios definitely know how to bring flat
games to VR!

So, if you like the Rogue-lite genre, and want to get a new shooter, give this
a tryy. Oh, and you can play it solo or with up to two friends!

I didn't play it long enough yet. But that has to do with my play area atm.
You will need some space to move your arms. So, I will come back to it at
some point.

The movement/controls need some time to get used to. The game seems
promising, and it is still in active development.

fun mixed reality game, but with a change to the Quest version!

the mixed reality is changed for a virtual room. so if you planned to play this in your living room or so, you have to get the Quest version instead. but if you e.g. want to stream this game, this is the perfect version,
because it doesn't show your room.

i played it with my Rift here, so i can't say if the resolution of the textures or such are better here. for me with the Quest 3 the standalone version looks better, but i will play it again once i have a cable for my Quest.

the price is the same without discount on Quest and Steam.

there we some little issues, like typos or sometimes a bit lag, but some of it might have been related to my setup atm.

great game if you are looking for something for your kids.

looking for a game for your child/s? this should be a perfect fit then. easy puzzle game.

I am normally against so called review bombings, but in this case I want to spread the needed info about this greedy tactic.

I copied the following from a friend's review, because it is spot on and I couldn't write it any better! I didn't change anything.

Charging $10 USD years after it's launch, way past any reasonable paid DLC cycle, for features like new accessibility options(this should be free), DualSense controller support(for a Playstation branded game!), permadeath(you don't need a mode to do permadeath), speedrun(again, you don't need a mode for this), and horde mode(doesn't add ANYTHING to the story game you are playing)... while telling fans that there will NOT be a sequal?

Yeah, no. This is a payed patch. Nobody should be paying for that. I know I won't, and I will take this into heavy consideration with Playstation published games in the future.

To add to the above, my decision to ignore any Sony release was made a long time ago. Don't care for their games enough and I will definitely not give them my info for a useless PSN account that nobody should need for singleplayer games, but you will in the future!

Seriously, this easily beats RedOut in every way imo. The loss of quality when playing
in VR is actually huge in RedOut, but much less in this game. The controls in RedOut
are also absolute :slugpoo: compared to BallisticNG!
That counts for pancake and VR.

What a crazy and fun game! There's a lot going on, and I played/streamed over 6 hrs on my first play session. That alone speaks for itself basically.

If you like oldschool shooters with tons of gore and secrets to find, this is definitely a must-have. For the insane price of 11.99 € (incl. 40% discount) there is no reason not to get it right now.

You get 30 levels, 30 bosses and 20-40 hrs of playtime. That just insane for that price. So just get it, you won't be disappointed.

This literally just came out in August... and they just announced a DLC that sounds like content that is missing from the base game. There is no reason why it shouldn'T be in the base game already or just added by a patch. Some indie devs actually release free content! Support those instead!

i liked the game until that news came out. For that :slugpoo: decision alone i will downvote this. it is not a bad game and it does have some nice new things not done in other souls-likes, but if you know me, you know how much i hate DLC like this, even more close after release!

I don't know about the price for the DLC, but if it is something like 4.99 or such, I keep my downvote. If it is more like 1.99 (definitely not), I might consider changing my review, but I highly doubt it.

That is one way to piss of customers. Yes, I did get it for free, but that doesn't change the fact that their decision is bad.

I would say "good luck" with this, but tbh, for their DLC choice they will get some hate for sure, not just from me. Give me ARK DLC vibes (granted that game wasn't even finished when they sold the DLC). Seeing the low numbers of reviews, I doubt that DLC will help sales. That'S one way to hurt your company.

Update 07/2025:
Those POS seriously have the nerve to release cosmetic PAID DLCs for 8,79 € (6,59 € release discount).
Stay FAR away from this :slugpoo: scammer that thinks they are actually developers. Those who know me know how much I liked and supported the game over the years. I won't install this again, because 1.0 sucks with the changes of things that were unchanged for over 10 years!

They finally released 1.0 Beta, but they want 45€ for it... The weird thing is that tons of promised features are not even in the game yet. But hey, who expects as story in a game
like this, right? Not that we wait for that for years already...

They also changed too much (again) with 1.0 and some of the lest few pre 1.0 versions.
- Secure Storage (in the game for 10+ years, I have screenshots of it): removed
- empty Jars/Cans after drinking/eating its content: removed
- Containers with logos (Ammo, Food, etc.): removed or rather replaced with white
label containers with :slugpoo: font

The above changes are enough for me to say "F*** this game". Want to have a sleeping bag and a small chest you can walk over when playing with friends in small areas? Nah, use a 1m*1m*1m wooden box that will block your way. Much better and more realistic...

I have to wait for a modder who is as pissed about the above changes as I am, and hopefully brings those back again.

The devs definitely disrespect the time I spent over the years!

If you were interested in the game, stay away from it until it is really finished (in maybe 5 years give or take).

Definitely not worth 45€, so get it on high discount, from key stores or the open seas. It takes a lot for me to not recommend a game I played that much. I might play again, but the tons of bugs and just plain stupid decisions are not fun anymore for me atm.

It still seems like they have no clue what they want the game to be when it is really finished. I bet they have no idea how the game will be finished story wise.

If you want to play some Unreal Engine 5 demo to see how good it can look... DON'T play this.
It looks outdated af, the performance is really bad, the models are copy pasted all over the place.
The interactions are a joke (not a funny one) as well.

Seems religious people like it a lot... :conwayshrug: It's not even Bible accurate (not that anything
in that book can be called accurate). Pretty hilarious for agnostics/atheists.

Check out the trailer on the full game page, that looks as fake as it can look. The game could look
like that eventually, but the devs have no idea how to develop with UE5 it seems.
