Am having an absolute blast with this game. So many different gametypes and styles to play that ensures you'll have a great time no matter your skill level. 10/10 best FPS I've played in years. Highly recommend.

Endless amounts of content. great rpg elements. and graphics are fantastic. game does have quite a few bugs but nothing that makes it unplayable and hopefully they will be patched out eventually. definitely need a higher end PC to take advantage of the great visuals

Great VR experience! I always use this game to introduce people to VR as it's humorous, and teaches you a lot of the basic controls and then move them on to other games

Hands down best game to hit VR in just about every aspect. There is no debate if you own a VR Headset this is a must buy.
The equivalent to owning an Xbox and never owned a Halo game.

Extremely Immersive, The story line automatically kicks off right away and the 1st Hour of gameplay I swear I didn't pick my jaw up off the floor once.

It can get quite intense and some pretty scary stressful situations, but it is an absolute rush. I just wouldn't recommend anyone to pick it up if you can't handle the creepy ambience and environments. (aka don't have your little sister play)

The game itself looks beautiful even at medium/low settings and is optimized absolutely perfectly. I'm currently using an HTC Vive with a GTX 1060 6gb and an i5-9600k and Alyx runs incredibly smooth. I pushed the Super Sampling up to 1.4 as well as Medium settings for everything and Textures & Particles to high with 0 Reprojections. I usually either have to deal with rough frame rate or turn everything down for most VR games, but not this one.

I'm only a few hours in and I already can't wait to get back in and play.

I REALLY hope to see Valve develop more VR games because this game not only lived up to the hype behind the release but absolutely OWNED that hype. This is exactly what VR needed and I hope more AAA Developers see this as incentive to develop more great games like this.

Recommendations to improve the game: I would really like to see some more control options, squeezing the grips is how a lot of other games grab objects but in this game your off hand grips on the vive brings you to the pause menu and I find myself doing that frequently.
I also am Left handed and shoot left handed however in every other shooter I played my left touch pad was always what I moved with so it has taken quite a while for me to get used to using the other hand. I'm aware you can change controller bindings to custom bindings through SteamVR, but it can get confusing and I would much rather just have some quick and easy toggles in the menu.
The Audio is fantastic in this game, However it would be nice to be able to adjust the ambience and sounds that are consistently playing.

Game is great! Love the customization, and it's one of the only FPS games that I have found with a progression system, unlocks and something to work for! The gun mechanics feel good, the missions are fun and each one feels unique, there are also secret guns to find within the missions.

I absolutely can not wait for PVP to come out and if done correctly I think it could easily give pavlov and onward a run for it's money. Onward and Pavlov are also a lot of fun but without a single thing to work towards or for I just see them as a casual game. With ranks and unlocks and cash to earn to buy unlocks it feels like a fun grind and feels accomplishing. Definitely recommend Zero Caliber

UPDATE: If you plan on purchasing to play Halo competitively with KB/M, I highly advise against it. Due to the aim assist advantage with controllers the competitive community is gone and 343 has blatantly decided to ignore the communities #1 most trending topic for months and just recently decided to start locking threads that brought up the issue on the halo waypoint forums.

The most recent development update also stated:

Aim Assist: No updates on this at this time.
as well as Input based matchmaking needing to be discussed before bringing it to the table.

This has pushed nearly the entire competitive PC community away and you will not find any games within ranked playlists. This is a huge let down as I have waited for years for this to come to PC and 343 is missing a huge opportunity to take the Competitive PC scene by storm.

I do not know a single player on KB/M that does not agree with all of the above and they have all quit playing a long time ago. You would be surprised with this being an issue as it really has never been a problem in FPS's on PC. but due to Halo's plays speed, Time to Kill, and movement. it is an extremely obvious issue and has frustrated me incredibly for months.

I do not recommend purchasing anything from them until they decide that the PC communities feedback has some importance to the future of the game on PC.

I will more than likely not be playing anymore until this issue is addressed, which as of now looks extremely unlikely as they show no sign of addressing it other than it's clearly annoying them enough to lock threads discussing it. unbelievably pathetic way to deal with issues and if the issue carries over to Halo Infinite, there is not a doubt in my mind the game will fail within the competitive PC community and I will not be purchasing it.
---------------------------------------------------

As a long term die hard fan since Halo 2 on Xbox I am so happy that MCC has finally made it to PC. The port is great the only current issue I see that need addressing is the balance between KB/M and Controller Aim Assist. It is extremely difficult to hit all of your shots using a mouse in comparison to controller at the moment and I feel that if you are not using a controller, in majority of common situations that occur in a halo you match you are at a severe disadvantage.

When cross platform the option to opt in/out should be a thing and console aim assist should not be adjusted. however in ranked play for PC there should absolutely be a balance adjustment between the 2 as it is extremely difficult to compete against anyone remotely skilled with a controller in their hands

This game is something special. Splitgate is a fantastically executed arena shooter that brings something new to the table. With solid fast paced competitive game play, a large skill gap, and endless strategy possibilities, it is most definitely going to get players that are looking for something competitive and different, hooked.
Don't get discouraged playing your first few games, the portal system takes time to learn and creates so many opportunities. from quickly escaping, securing an objective, outflanking your opponent, shooting around corners, grabbing a power weapon and bringing it across map in an instant. There are so many ways to utilize this new skill set and will undoubtedly take time to learn and even more to master.
I really hope this game stays around and the player base continues to grow.
There is so much potential here for insane professional game play and crazy good highlights that will have players going insane.
Highly HIGHLY recommend.

Highly Recommend this game/training tool to improve your aim for any FPS. Lots of different workouts and challenges for you to improve your reaction time and precision!
This has helped me improve in the FPS's I play dramatically. Typically start every gaming session playing for 10-20 mins to warm up and then after. But it's not only a trainer it's actually really fun!

I Recommend using a pistol (single shot) to train as fully automatic guns can sometimes shoot more than 1 bullet on a click and therefore affects your accuracy/precision.
Also UN-CHECK "enable weapon view model" as targets can sometimes spawn behind your gun and you can't see them.

Rating 9/10 can't wait to see what more they add!
