Somewhere between Super Mario Sunshine and Subnautica for kids. Enjoyed it very much. Short game with satisfying game loop where power spikes feel meaningful.

Hast to be the worst metroidvanaia I've ever played. Tedious controls, constantly being forced to backtrack from dead ends, turgid boss fights and a total lack of player agency.

The reviewers who said this game was like Hollow Knight must be friends and family.

Do not get this game, hit yourself in the head with a brick instead, it's cheaper and more entertaining.

Programmer used to make flash games that were redundant, boring and free.

After 15 years of dedication to their craft, they are no longer free.

Tedious battle system, card game, UI, bought this game on sale and greatly regret it, how they could charge a higher price than that is absurd.

The concept is neither fundamentally strong or well constructed. Entire game loop relies on you knowing interactions and outcomes while going through the exact same requirements every time.

Game needs a massive refresh. The ability to risk/reward early gold for more slots, better chances at loot.

There is very little game here, and because dev keeps adding more symbols and no balance, unfortunately there becomes less with every update.

I got this game for free and still paid too much. Worst enemy design in an ARPG I've ever come across.

Oustanding. Zen. Fun.

Playing like a hybrid between Cities: Skylines and Sim Earth, the way this game flows and feels rewarding if you play it for five minutes of hours feels rewarding and gradifying. Rules are simple to learn and take some more effort to master. Creating various biomes and expanding them across the map is just so much fun.

This may be one of the most frustrating games I've ever played. If you imagine a stripped down Doodle God with filler elements of a poor Rouge-lite, drab writing, unititive design and gameplay you more or less have it.

No two parts of this game go together. After hours and hours of attempting to combine all elements as well as I could, I only became more frustrated with an opaque and poorly written game (the writing of this game seems to be very in love with itself, and it shouldn't be, at all. It's what teenagers used to put on Myspace when bored).

If the game's mechanics were made to be more understandable and gameplay balance and RNG elements less flailing this game would have all the makings to be a decent for free flash game on a website. As is, the price point, the lack of care and effort put into even the base mechanics?

This game is absolute hot garbage. Please do not buy it.

Charming tower defender that isn't quite worth the purchase price

If it piqued your interest enough to look this far then yes, it's a servicable enough tower defense. I wish I could recommend it full heartedly but it's just a little lacking in features.

The pros are that the game functions well, has a charming aesthetic and game logic to it, and a fair balance of tech trees, early, mid and late game options.

The problem is that the game starts too slow and finishes too quickly. There are only four tower types and three of them are unlocked through subsequent gameplays. You could (and I did) easily unlock the hardest difficulty without having access to the final tower type.

All difficulties are the same map (with some randomness thrown in but not enough to be meaningful in gameplay) with the same amount of waves and the same order/type of enemies.

In short? If the game was fleshed out a bit more it woudl be an easy recommendation. As is, you should probably wait until it hits a price point that you think will reflect a good value for 1.5-2.5 hours of gameplay.

Hope the dev doesn't feel despirited by this reveiw if they read it. Will be giving a positive rating, keep up the good work, you just need to flesh out the basic concepts of your game a bit more now that you have WONDERFUL and solid mechanics in place.
