don't play this game expecting a classic fallout experience. You're honestly better off thinking of this game as a completely different IP with a fallout skin slapped on it (like Hyrule Warriors with the legend of Zelda series). The game is more action based instead of fallout's traditional RPG, but this doesn't mean the game is bad by any means. The combat is the best in the series and the sheer amount of armor and item customization is incredible (at the cost of there being less unique weapons, which were replaced by legendary weapons). If you're looking for a more RPG friendly experience I recommend getting some mods as many help with these *problems. Overall the game is good fun and provides a fun lore friendly experience.

seriously just buy the game and try it out, its not that expensive anymore and has probably one of the greatest modding communities out there. The base game itself is an easy 100 hours. If you enjoy rpg based games, you'll enjoy this game
