Bought this game a few years ago. When I came back to it recently I found that it still has great communities, and, once again, I can't put the game down. Wonderful game that keeps on giving!

Upon first launch, I was enjoying the game despite some small issues I had with the controls. I thought the game would be easier to play if I inverted the y axis. Rather than changing which direction of my thumbstick corresponds to which direction in the game, it switched some controls to the other thumbstick making the game literally unplayable. Turning off the invert y axis option did not fix the issue and I'm no longer able to play the game. It was a cool idea, and I love the graphics, but the controls need a lot of work.

Most people when posting reviews rant on about how it's good and bad. I'm just going to say, you need a beastly computer to run this game but it's totaly worth it.

I played the first geometry wars on my ds quite a few years ago. It was always one of my favorite games. Now when I noticed this came out, I knew I had to play it right away. after playing it for 4.1 hours I can honestly say it is an amazing and most definately awesome game. Geometry Wars 3 also implemented the 3d very well in a way that allows you to still be able to see a fairly large area.
