Sonic Generations:
Sonic Team's direct port is miles better than the rushed port Devil's Details did in 2011, the settings are in-game now, you can change settings and controls on the fly, the game runs smooth even in areas where the original PC port struggled, you can interact with the game with the mouse in menus, and obviously it benefits from being 64-bit now. Game's as good as it ever was, and the rewrites aren't the end of the world.

Shadow Generations:
Absolutely amazing, the best game Sonic Team's made in a very long time. It's just as long as the original Sonic Generations and a joy to complete to 100%, endlessly replayable and speedrunnable too. If Sonic Team continues to approach Sonic like this from now on, I think we're in pretty good hands! Very optimised too!

Sonic Forces... It took a while but it's finally here! ...It didn't turn out as well as I had hoped.
Leading up to Forces, I was decently excited for the game. Mostly because I was interested in messing with the avatar editor and seeing what I could create with it.
The game itself... It became a bit of a mixed bag critically. If you're a TLDR kind of person, I'll just say it now.
7/10.
Want to read on? Cool. Let's begin with the...

STORY 6/10

Of all the stories that Pontac and Graff were involved in, I feel this is probably the strongest one, but that isn't saying much. I did enjoy the darker shift in tone to the concept of a war between Eggman and Sonic's friends. I felt like some things went by too fast like Sonic being considered dead, then revealed to be alive literally a minute later. I feel the inclusion of Classic Sonic was so shoehorned in. He meant nothing to the plot outside of just being the guy to listen to all of Tails's problems. I also felt that a bit too much cheese was inserted into the plot here and there. Overall, it's a cute story, but it's flawed.

GRAPHICS 9/10

Hoo boy. The graphics in this game are so stunning. That work on the Hedgehog Engine 2 really paid off. While the environments aren't as vastly built like the ones in Generations, the effects like grass, reflections, water, etc all look beautiful. One can only begin to think of what a game as detailed as Generations would look like in here. Anyway, they sure made use of the increasae of horsepower modern consoles and PCs have. Too bad it's a bit unoptimized. (That and I have intel graphics, but I've played on a gaming PC too)

Gameplay 7/10

The gameplay was a huge letdown. The stages are all so short with a bunch of style with little substance. The trio of new guys treated automation as their best friend here. As soon as stages get hype, they end within seconds. My first runs of the stages in Generations were full of wonder of what was coming next. That happens here, but it's almost always goal when I question that. Classic is also broken. He's very very broken. He just FEELS shoehorned into the game. The custom hero has a wide variety of different weapons to use. They bring a pretty decent change to the levels depending on which one you equip. Drill is good for speedrunning, Void is overpowered, etc.

Music 9/10

The music is hit or miss for many. For me, I love all of the music. The only misses I get are some of the classic tracks, and only like two of those and one that gives me flashbacks to a level that uses a trope that should NEVER be used in a Sonic game... Okay now that I've regrouped, this is a solid soundtrack. The vocal themes are nice, Modern's music is fast paced and feels like it fits! It feels great to get a ton of vocal themes in a game again.

Overall 7/10

It's not bad, but it's not a masterpiece. I'll recommend this. If you're a fan of fast paced action then you SHOULD enjoy this. The OC creator is pretty good too. Heh.

Sonic Mania is a fantastic game. I've played it all day since launch and am planning on going back into it soon. Before I say anything more, Yes, I am aware that Mania has Denuvo riddled all over it, but frankly I don't care. I know how bad it can be, but I'm not going to blindly destroy the game's reputation over a decision the developers didn't even have a say in. I for one want a sequel, so I will go and post my thoughts.

Well first off... IT'S ABOUT TIME! I'm glad that the two weeks were spent bugfixing and not just to implement the DRM that's destroying this game's rep. It feels great to have a dedicated Super button, and to not have all of those clipping bugs Knuckles was known for. This game feels like a true sequel to Sonic 3 & Knuckles and I couldn't be any happier. I wasn't alive during the Classic era, but I sure did connect with them via Mega Collection! The moment I saw Mania, my mind was set. This was gonna be good. And it is!

The stages, while mostly old zones, are well designed, and packed with secrets and clever new level design that shakes up a tried and true level and makes it even better.
The Blue Sphere bonus stages are addicting. I'm one of those people who used to play Blue Sphere a lot as a kid after unlocking it in Mega Collection, and to see it here... beautiful
The special stages are a genuine challenge but fair. Those too were quite addicting. It's just a shame there's only seven of them.
The bosses are fantastic, especially Chemical Plant's boss. Those who've played know what I'm talking about, and I've always loved playing that game.

All and all, go ahead and buy the game! I mean... you can wait until they remove Denuvo, because let's face it... they're going to remove it, it's too negatively recieved.

TLDR: Don't care about Denuvo enough to downvote, love levels and special stages, definitely buy it after DRM is fixed.

Sonic Lost World is a fun game! Being unable to get a WiiU because of my parents' hatred of Nintendo's recent practices, it feels great to play this awesome game! The port is decent enough to get by, it gives you most of the Lost World experience. The circuses could've stayed though. I've always wanted to play them. Also, instead of slowing down, why can't the game skip frames like Sonic Generations? My PC isn't the best, and I'm okay with running Generations at 30-55 FPS depending on level, but when I play Lost World, it feels slower than it should be. It could also use a little more optmization too. However, it's much better than the 3DS version, and I'm happy to report that this port isn't half-baked and rushed just to get some bucks. Sega, don't let yourselves die, make Sonic wonderful again like you did 4 years ago!

Will edit review if issues are fixed with patching.

EDIT: Things are going well now with the new 30FPS and Unlocked Framerate optional patch! It feels so great to play this game without slowdown!

Garry's Mod is a game where you are put into a map with little to no objects inside. It's up to you to decide what gets put in or not! When you buy and download another Source Engine game, you can use that game's maps, too! That's a plus! The thing is, it wouldn't be very fun with just the stock objects/your Source game objects, would it? That's where the Steam Workshop comes in! You can download countless addons to keep the experience fresh! You can download stuff from Sonic, Mario, Zelda, Star Wars, and even memes such as MLG, Dear Sister (I love that one XD), or Nyan Cat. It's a silly game or a very boring one. The experience is up to you and your imagination. Luckily, my imagination is very vivid at times, so I have a lot of fun with this! :D I totally reccomend it!
