Alright, after reading some of the reviews, I failed to find one that adaquetly represented my point of view. I think the Art, Music, Animations, Optimization, Textures and all that nonesense are polished. I have a decent PC, and it runs at 60 FPS with a few stutters when loading new areas, which is to be expected. Also, the in game video settings are maxed as far as I know.

In regards to gameplay, I would say like 8/10. The combat is very Dark Souls / Salt and Sanctuary -esk. There's a large penatly for getting hit, in other words the enemies do quite a bit of damage, but you CAN string together shield bashes, block, and dodges to go through the game without getting hit at all.

As far the charge attack goes, I think that the permenant stamina decrease is a perfect insentive to only use it when you decide that it's needed. Food gives you back plenty of stamina, and i personally found myself using whenever confronted with about 3 or more enemies. I really enjoyed the game, now here's my cons:

The game feels to me more than anything that it lacks the content of other rougelikes, such as binding of isaac, or risk of rain. I only encountered about 10 different weapons, granted I did only reach level 3. I found about 5 different shields. I did not find any armor ever. I like the potions are crafting mechanics, although I do wish things were a little less implied, and more stated. I can be difficult to decifier what exactly an item or potion does. Although that isn't necassarily unique to this game, it's more of a genre thing.

The level desgin seemed great, and I surprised that the 2nd time I reached level 3, it was completely different. That part of the random generation works excellently. Mostly I would just like to see slightly more enemy and item variation, and more implicit explanations of items and other related things.

I absolutely think it's worth it's $30 price point. If you can justify a completly online game like Overwatch for $60, then this game qualifies for half of that. It's a pretty unique experience.

It seems like a great game, but it's takes forever to find a match, I put a vote in for larger servers, or more of them, if you guys have the time or money. Great execution of an arena game.
