Genuinely the best Digimon game ever made. A perfect starting point for people who want to get into the franchise, and a perfect new experience for those already in to Digimon. I also wanna give a extra special shout-out to the story; it's insanely good

A perfect showcase of what a PS2 remaster should be in the modern era. A true to it's roots revival of one of Atlus' absolute best. There's nothing more to say other than; Go! Raidou!

The game's absolutely mesmerizing to look at and feels amazing to play. I actually can't believe I'm saying this, but this is *THE* definitive way to play Oblivion! Virtuos did a absolutely incredible job, they deserve to be proud.

I adore RPGs more than anything in the world, it sustains me, without it I perish. I've played so, *so*, many RPGs that finding ones that blink out in everything they do feels completely impossible. And yet Metaphor: ReFantazio did just that. This is one of the best RPGs I have ever played, easily. Team 0 used their years and years of Persona experience and turned it into this absolutely phenomenal game. I have nothing to say about it that the game can't say for itself

Play it

Painfully mid. While I deeply enjoyed the Gunpla customization, and had a good time shooting the breeze with my friends while grinding up various Gunpla parts, that's about the only times I actually enjoyed myself.

The combat, writing, game play loop, voice acting, custom Gunpla designs, art style, etc... everything is just so middle of the road. I realize this game had a very small development team, and they were very likely rushed beyond belief to release the game on time, but ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ this needed another year or two in the oven.

Do I recommend this game? No, no not really. Do I think it's worth playing if you really like Gundam? Sure, it's not like we have any better options...

I'm somebody who grew up with Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and Budokai 3, and later in life bought Tenkaichi 3.

I've played every single Dragon Ball game that came out since those two and had sky high expectations for this one. I genuinely believed Bamco would completely fail with this game... They didn't. This game feels like a dream. This is genuinely *the* best Dragon Ball fighting simulator. I've never before played a DB game that felt this much like the anime. I'm completely and utterly blown away. Incredible jobs by both Bandai and Spike.

This is a game that'll be played for decades to come.

Y'know, a lot of time has passed since I played Ishin!. Since then we've gotten Gaiden and LaD 8. And yet, despite how amazing those two were my mind always seems to come back to this one. Ishin! feels to me like a leak in the Like a Dragon franchise. An absolute feat of a game that deserves to have it's praises sung far, far, more often. One of the best to ever do it.

A lot of time has passed since this game came out and I find myself disliking it's story, gameplay, and design choices more and more. This game really is inferior to LaD 7 in every single way. And looking back on it this is also where RGG's current enshitification started. It's not a *bad* game, but it's probably the weakest mainline Yakuza/Like a Dragon game.

Old Review:
A final farewell to Kiryu deserved to be a astounding game, and LaD 8 delivered. If you've gotten to this point in the story you'll know you like it anyways. Thank you, RGG, for this wild ride.
