Game of the year worthy once bugs / performance has been fixed.

Hopefully Devs provide further DLC to the game - if so, easy dub.

8/10 for game as is, once performance issues are fixed 5/7.

Take Monster Hunter World + Generations and you have Rise, a good mix of the old and the new with some twists.

COD 4 = Best COD 10/10 would play again

Unfortunately this is just your standard Chinese MMO, while I have only spend 3 - 4 hours on the game so far this is enough for me to realise its not something that I will end up sinking my teeth into.

The story itself is "Okay" at best, while I watched the beginning cut scenes, after this I have made a conscious effort to skip the story entirely, some of the parts I do listen to, the English voice acting is cut short due to the scene ending before the actor can finish the lines, or the cut scene is split 50 / 50 between Chinese and English.

The combat does get stale pretty fast, although I am only beginner level 12 meaning I don't have full range of my abilities yet. However the game tries to have you constantly switch between tab targeting or action combat.

While the action combat for the melee classes is the obvious choice, there is nothing special about it, this has been done previously by many other games, and has also been done much, much better (BDO).

The UI for me was very confusing at first, trying to navigate through everything the game has to offer, while there are pop up "tutorials" which explains some of the games systems and UI, this could be greatly improved upon.

Over all, I honestly feel like this game should have been a free to play game, which who knows, in a few years or so, it could be.

In simple words, as everyone will have guessed, It's Monster Hunter meets Pokemon.
