Normal spray ratios have to be less than 512x512 but that site does weird stuff with the way it renders a VTF , making the filesize 511kb regardless of image size. It makes for higher quality VTF sprays and such. If you use VTFEdit or other tutorials, you need to keep the image 512x512 pixels with less than 512kb filesize for it to work in game.

If you use sprays (dot) tk :
Import the image and set the dimensions to 768 x auto
Click "generate mipmaps" and import the image. You should see like 5 or 6 of the same images.
Put the ones you want to show up far away in the bottom 3 or 4 of them, and the ones up close in the last couple at the top of the page. The close ups should be the bigger images of the bunch.

Click "Convert", then wait a second. Save as VTF and put it in your sprays folder.
