Overrated, buggy, pre-alpha walking simulator

Avorion is a great, this DLC is not. I was having such a great time with the base game i ended up putting over a 100 hours into it like nothing. I was taking my time with the base game, building up my fleet, building rep and was having such a good time I was planning to go out of my way to get all the achievements for fun(not something I'd normally do)

Then I get to this DLC; after only a couple of hours of into rift missions/story, playing with 15-20 fps, trying to figure out objectives with little to no explanation, all on the same map with the same enemies on repeat, my enjoyment turned to frustration pretty quickly.

My desire to continue playing has been taken from me. I'm putting the game down for now and may return at some point in the future to finish the final boss.

Counter Strike has always been my favorite shooters. I've spent over 12k hour on source and I'm close to 3k hours on csgo.
My love for this game has slowly turned into bitterness over the years. The game is infested with hackers made worse by the fact the game is now free to play. Even in prime, my last 20 games 16/20 had blatent hackers. Valves anti cheat is lazy and the overwatch system is half assed. The millions Valve has made from this game and they can't be bothered with a good anti cheat. Players who want to play seriously are forced to pay for 3rd party clients like ESEA or Faceit to get a fair game.

Pros : Lots of Fun(especially with friends).

Cons : Filled with more bugs than I can count. My game crashes every 30- 1 hour. Auto kickes you into a new lobby after a few games of playing with the same people. Matches you constantly with players from all over the world, 200-400 ping becomes standard. Not to mention the difficulty in communication.

I would love to recommend this game, but this game is too much of a headache to play with all the glitchy animations and constant crashes- I would wait until they fix it before buying, unless its on a steam sale.
