I played this on the hardest difficulty, so the review is more coloured from that in terms of length. All in all it is a basic clicker, there are 3 levels on each characters, you have to click on them to advance towards it which is fine, it also speeds up the animation so it isn't super slow which is nice.

The art itself is really really nice, I like the pixel art and the animated scenes it is very good and for later on there is some different gameplay which I really enjoyed, especially the newest update that added two succubi. The added crystals that were there helps speeds things up which helps a lot to get through the game, but it won't allow you to level every character to max before you "win" the game.

Personally the only thing I'd like to see more of in the game would be a bit more varied gameplay, or more things to hit that makes numbers go higher, it helps to make the time go faster while playing. I'd like to see more stuff like the fights (Queen, Twin Succubi) as that is a nice change of pace.

Overall I recommend the game, the pixel art is really good and I like the animated sprites as well as the cutscenes. It's really good though the gameplay can get a bit slow compared to other clickers. However, that can easily be configured when you start the game via easy, normal and hard difficulties.

A horny and decent creature collector

I'll put a Tldr; up here then if you want a more in-depth review you can read it below.

Tldr;
1. It's a decent creature collector, the art is sort of a mix of western cartoon and anime style, it has lots of different creatures for basically any type, though mostly focused on breasts and butt.

2. The combat is okay, it's nothing special, it has stat altering moves and attacks and as of right now it has a level cap of 45 for each creature. Most (not all) creatures can evolve and unlock newer forms, and there is "shinies" or rare variants.

3.They also added a female character option with the most recent patch (patch 1.4.1) most scenes have a ♥♥♥♥ in it, or in the female option a strapon, it's a bit disappointing but absolutely understandable.

4. Overall, if you want a monster-collector or something similar I'd say it's worth getting, but it doesn't have complex battle mechanics like other games (ex. Pokémon, Digimon, Nexomon: Extinction).

Actual review

Combat
The combat is okay, it does it's job, you have different elements, or types, it also has a built-in type chart which is really helpful in the beginning. There is also a way to see what stat increases and decreases a spirit has gotten during battle, on that screen you also see the weaknesses and resistances as well.

There are 3 types of attacks in the game, you have stat altering moves, damaging moves and poison, which does damage after every turn.

Every move also has an accuracy rating, power value and lastly priority.
All of these are self-explanatory except for priority. Priority is basically what determines who goes first, because the speed stat is basically useless in the end. It's a value between 1-3, the lower the number the faster it is. Essentially go with moves that 1 or 2, otherwise you'll always go last.

In the settings you can also turn up the battle speed which is very good when you want to level up, after each battle there is also a chance to receive a reward, I believe it depends on the area you're in. Sometimes it is gold and sometimes it can be a chocolate cake.

Creatures and sprites
The creatures are pretty varied, there are one that is a glory-hole there are furry-adjacent monsters, snow-woman, and so on. However as of writing it "only" has 75 creatures, that's a fair amount but if you compare it to bigger franchises it is obviously not that many. There is probably something for everyone in the game and that's great. When in battle you can also see the sprites of the creatures move around which is nice, it basically has an animation loop when they don't attack where for the most part they sway their breasts back and forth. The attacks animations themselves are fine, it's pretty good, I'd say it is a good step above RPG maker stock assets, these are fully custom made and there are pretty much no reused animation from what I've seen.

Art & Hentai
So the art direction is something I'd like to say is a mix between western animation style, to me some of it reminds me of Steven Universe in terms of how some characters look, however it also has clear anime inspired visuals as well, I'd say it is a good middle ground. Nothing looks out of place or weird, it is all in it's style and that's a great thing.

Here comes the "controversal" part, the hentai or porn scenes are well done, however a lot of the animations themselves are repeated. To get a scene with a creature you can use an item in the game or go catch (or evolve) that specific creature, however a lot of times the animations seems to be reused over different monsters, if they are not they are extremely similar to each other, for example they got multiple versions of a boobjob, the creatures will be different however the animation itself is the same. That's fine, but I have to say to me it got a bit repetitive for me. Especially when going for the catch 100 creatures achievement, which prompts you to see each of the scenes again and again as you catch them. I did figure out that you can release them after you catch them and it cancels the scene itself and counts toward the achievement.

In general the animations are well done, I really like how there are variations and that the rare subspecies are reflected into the scenes, but I do think some of them repeat a bit much considering the amount of creatures in the game.
Other than that there is a good mix of boobjobs, anal, penetrative sex, handjobs etc. They are all played from the first person perspective, so you'll only see the creature doing the act on you, to me that's a positive.

Verdict
I recommend the game overall, but I'd say don't buy the game if you want a really good creature collector, buy it because you like to pleasure yourself as you get your shaft worked in-game. The art is very nice and cohesive there is nothing that looks out of place. The only thing I was a bit disappointed by was the female option essentially being a strapon and that's it, However I understand why and I am content with it because the game wasn't going to have a female player option to begin with when it was being planned.

first of I will say this is a very very good game especially for something that is rated AO (adult only) I'd even say it is a good metroidvania game in itself. I did have some issues with it when it comes to movement in the game using a controller, sometimes it felt like the buttons didn't respond, for example at the height of my jumps I could not use the mid-air dash and sometimes I could, almost like the game couldn't handle all the commands at the same time. This might be an issue with my controller so I am not going to hold it against the game.

I think it is a shame that this is AO, but it is only because it is a really nice game even if you played it for just the gameplay it is a decent game. the game have wonderful pixel art and the pornography scenes in it is pretty good, a decent amount of variety as well. I recommend this game wholeheartedly despite the issues above.

Is this hollow knight level of good? no, is it like Ender Lilies? no however it is a good metroidvania in it's own right ^^

If you are a digimon fan you'll probably like this game, if you like the gameplay of Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics this might be up your alley, however keep in mind this game is more visual novel than strategy game.

That's not a bad thing at least for me, I'd say it is a 60% to 70% visual novel and choices and 30% to 40% strategic gameplay. This is just a good thing to know before you buy it. The game itself is very well done and I recommend it for the story, it was a gripping story for me and it had some nice surprises I didn't expect.

The gameplay is not as deep as Final Fantasy Tactics or Fire emblem, but it is still fun, though towards the end of my 2nd playthrough I felt the battles were getting a bit annoying, not because they were bad but because it got a bit repetitive.

All in all a good digimon game and worth a shot. If you are not completely sure I'd say see if you can get it on a sale

First of, I want to say this is an absolute gem, however some caveats need to be addressed, this game is probably not for you if you do not like bullet-hell games. Overall the game has lots of metroidvania elements and it is very good at that, just make sure if you start at normal or something along those lines, you can change the difficulty once you meet an npc and you can go up or down in difficulty. I personally played it on hard mode and had to retry bosses multiple times, but it was more my own fault for not lowering the difficulty, it got frustrating at times but also really nice when you finally beat that one boss that's been messing you up for an hour.

I'd recommend this to anyone that like bullet-hells and also recommend to people that enjoy metroidvania, this game scratches both of those itches and it is absolutely worth picking up. Oh lastly, if you are using a PS5 Dualsense controller it works completely fine with this game, if it is not picked up immediately, enable the steam input in your preferences.

pretty good game, took me the full 14 hours to finish the game 100%. if you want to a game that is like a weird mix of bullet hell and character progression, you can in theory go through any of the dungeons in any order, with some exception, however you are heavily incentivised to go in a set path, mostly due to how the gear progression works.

The game overall does increase in difficulty, in some areas I felt like I was hitting a brick wall, however it felt really good when I eventually beat it. There are also trials that give you badges, which is basically trinkets you equip to get some nice effects, like "gain 1 extra dash, your dashes now hurt enemies" or like, "as you evade you create a ice shield around you". There is also more rudimentary effects like "gain 1 health" or "increase melee damage by 10%"

Overall a solid game and can be challenging but does scratches "The realm of the mad god itch" I had.

Honestly nothing bad to say about the actual gameplay and honestly it is a good version of the game, but keep in mind this is more of a port of their PC client.
They did make this version of the game without any crossplay, so if you play it here you can only play it through Steam, this is a major point for people that want to play on the go because you cannot link your mihoyo account to it.

one positive at least for me has been the fact that I didn't need to worry about a popup that kept coming up on the PC version that's not on steam that kept saying "connection lost" and would come every time you go to the menu or the bridge.

Lastly if you do not mind playing fresh from steam the performance at least from what I've been noticing is very good, it's not lagging or anything at all at least for me on a PC with a Nvidia Gtx 1070 and I7 6700k processor.

Honestly a good series of game, this game has all three .hack root games, which is really nice in my opinion, I wholeheartedly recommend this as the story is quite gripping, at least for me, however be warned, it is slow, it takes time to get into the game.

If you have time to spare, pick this up it has a nice story, and it is a lot of content for the money, this also has a 4th unreleased volume that is the ending to the entire root series, and if you did not watch the anime it has a summary in the "terminal disc" menu it might be worth a try if you do not want to watch the anime.

Well, what to say about this game, except that I have really enjoyed it so far, the story is fleshed out very well imo, as in the characters actually has character, with that I mean they got different personalities, backstory and different things they like.

Each of the characters I've met have felt genuine and more or less "lifelike", even when most of them are based on tropes in their personality, but they actually have character development and it doesn't feel forced.

I think my favourite in the game right now is Kiri, which is the fox girl, her backstory is well written the same with all of the characters I've met, even your own character (Marie) is fleshed out and have her own personality, which is a good addition in my opinion.

I know due to the nature of this game being sexual in nature many people will not play it, though even with that I do think it is worth playing because of the setting and the story, and obviously the characters, they are the main point in my opinion!

So do I recommend it? yes I do recommend it!
