Very fun cheapie. Defo kills a few hours in a fun way, especially if you have a friend to play with. Recommend play solo/with one other friend, due to room size/confusion.

Cool concept, works for the first few hours before it becomes a bit tedious of a back and forth simulator with extra steps. It's a very short-lived experience I completed the campaign in under 20h, but there's small bits to do beyond that i.e. guns, puzzles.

Invasions are kind of cool? Although I disabled random mm after about 2 maps and proceeded to be invaded by the bot maybe 3 times throughout the rest of my playthrough. MM for playing as Julianna isn't particularly fun for me. Out of 5 matches I had 2 disconnects, 2 where I died and 1 I quit on because it was a long game of hide and seek with 0 hints as to where the player was located at. I understand the reprise ability for Colt is useful for learning maps etc. but to kill him to then get uno reverse card'd not particularly fun (maybe just an early game Julianna issue).

Not worth £40 imo, rather spend that on a different game unless you're after relatively easy achievements.

Solid game, defo worth a buy for a playthrough. Recommend playing on hard minimum otherwise it's way too easy. Even ultra hard is somewhat easy with a late game piece you can acquire.

Mostly good story, good development of Aloy but other characters are a bit lacking, no real interaction outside their help quests. Wish the final boss was different, imo even on ultra hard still too easy, no surprise factor really but the final quest is good overall. Side quests are a bit follow this marker or go here and do this kind of vibe, not stunning but not bad.

Voice lines can sound a bit compressed even with bitrate turned up, particularly on some of Erend's voice lines it becomes apparent.

Movement is bout standard, lil janky going from free moving to scripted movement. Would've liked a slow down feature for walking on PC M+K, otherwise you keep tapping W to follow people.

DLC is defo where things get harder, noticeable difference between main story and DLC (a side story which should be done pre-completion of the main story). Enemies are a lot more challenging imo.

Performance on a 1060 is okay, fairs well enough, few instances of dropping frames when loading things but overall pretty consistent.

Overall, really good game, bit more polish and character development and I feel it would've been a solid 10, otherwise 9/10.

Ever wanted to experience Russia but too poor to travel? Just buy this game; 11/10
